Or when the teacher is ready the student appears. The are one in the same. We are all teachers and we are all students at different moments.
It sounds incredibly daunting. Have to swallow this pill. Ego attachment is no joke. The knowledge that you are fundamentally untouchable, incorruptable, eternal and divine will be your only help during these coming times. Your ego can be hurt, but that doesn't matter, it is a construct and a shackle, a limit.
You feel pain when the shackle is attacked. You feel fear when the shackles threaten to break. But after they do break you will realize how you were held back by them.

I have listened to many teachers before and I highly respect some of them, still I am so glad I stumbled onto this Man... he encourages my Soul on it's journey to the Light...

Ego has only 2 routes:
(1) The route of assertion - expand, expand expand and disappear into the infinite
(2) the route of surrender - minimize, minimize and minimize and dissolve into the subtlest of all

Ego' biggest sin is claiming itself as the entirety of self. It is an aspect of self only. You can use it, or let it use you.
“Pity is not compassion” the truth most don’t realize. Compassion is received from enlightened beings, pity is ego, I feel it lowers the worth of another, instead of raising their vibration, it lowers it. Compassion however is present in the ascended and raises a soul in dispair🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The right of passage; No one gets there. Like the Event Horizon, there is no ego to experience it. Once your in or over the edge, it's all "Peace that passeth understanding." As long as there's ego, there'll be fear.
If u have fear, you can be sure the ego is still trying to run the show.

Actually the fighting is an illusory sense right there. The ego fights, but remember, it's a sense of separateness. It's not real. But I think I know what u mean.

If you're new to this stuff, just start meditating. If u just listen to your breathing in and out, with your eyes closed of course, the thoughts quiet down. Do it every day.

Thank you from the depth of my heart and soul for your authenticity, strength and compassion in sharing the highest truths, for those souls that are suffering in silence all alone.
You have explained extremely difficilt stuff which is a relief and a dread at the same time.
The tower moments are unbearable as you mentioned currently.
But the dying ego manages to yet throw up attachments and even small objects of desire to keep one tied to the monumental struggle.
And this is why so many who entered this path enthusiastically, walk away when they can.
There is a hierarchy which is executing the process, a spiritual team with each soul on this path and they are steering and engineering everything.
What disturbed me tremendously was the teaching of compassion while demanding of dispassion.
This you have explained so beautifully but it is yet so difficult and painful...feels like a lifetime of just deep suffering.
Love and gratitude for your presence.
I know I have gravitated or vice versa to your channel for sound reason especially in these critical times.
The photo seen here, is that of my husband, who suffered a head injury which resulted in severe brain damage due to an almost 24 hour delay in surgery or treatment.
This occured on May 4th 2020. Since then, it's been pure horror..
Souls on this path usually have no source of income.
With the global situation and the local and severe personal pressures ...one constantly struggled with the idea of God.
Much gratitude and love to you, and to all souls on this extremely painful journey.

I can’t imagine how lonely , panicked or empty you must feel today ... he’s there , but he’s not.

For whatever reason this abrupt awful accident occurred, use the shift to grow through - not perish as well ... share with him everything your learning .. you have a captive audience.. perhaps you will Be part of a miracle to share with others.

Evolving consciousness individually and as a whole is the goal of creation. The creator wants us to lower our consciousness entropy on the multi planes and grow and co-create more reality constructs in mental planes to continue to process of ascension for others. Ego consciousness is the most inexplicable, existential bubble... and upon glimpsing its construct, it is indeed apparent that such is the one trap that (even the son's of God) must call for grace to be granted its release.
Yes very true, the ego causes the fall, in different ways it's called pride,, or an unwillingness to learn or accend to your true bieng or the one you left.
The ego is the "egg" in which the spirit and the soul are closed. In the Christian tradition of Easter, people knock with painted eggs, but do not understand the meaning of this, and the meaning is to break the Eg-o to hatch "the chick" for the higher reality.
Take care of yourself, feeling a bet exhausted myself.

Going through hell by giving up all objects and transforming the ego during a Dark Night of the soul, a true mystic after my heart
Compassion for the suffering that has already happened, yet dispassion for what might happen next.
Very wise advice here from Shunyamuri.
If I (these are not my words but that which was passed down) may compliment this with the Greek/western tradition, to illustrate the universal nature of this teaching, thus the profound importance as it is something shared across the ages and cultures. This rite of passage is a test to demonstrate, not to the Hierarchy, not to the onlooker, but to one's self, that they have overcome the great illusion; that matter, form, cannot hold them any longer.
We can see this in the constellations. Heracles, struggling with the serpent of illusion, he looks towards the constellation Aquilla, the eagle, the spirit for inspiration. The constellation Ophiuchus, struggling with the serpent, looks at Corona Borealis, the crown constellation, for aspiration.
"We rise by kneeling; we conquer by surrendering; we gain by giving up. Go forth, O son of God and son of man, and conquer." Words to Heracles as he enters the 8th gate of Scorpio
"In terms of the aspirant this means that in Virgo I discovered the Christ in myself, that down the ages my form nature has nurtured a Christ; in Libra. I fluctuate between the pairs of opposites, form and the Christ nature, until I achieve balance and the Christ and matter are in a stage of equilibrium. In Scorpio I am tested as to which will triumph, the form or the Christ, the higher Self or the lower self, the real or the unreal, the true or the illusion. That is the underlying story of Scorpio."

What is time? Time is the grace we are gifted to transform our time bound minds into Vessels of Light. Thus, "in-lighten-ment." The main problem of maya/ego, is, it denies there is even such a possibility. This denial collapses consciousness into a fixed condition of illusory pursuits, commensurate with consensus and environmental expectations, by which ego is perceived as real to an exclusion of an awareness of Self, and the Light of Awareness burns darkly. One must traverse De-Nile to gain illumination.

I think God created us with inner ego that we need it in our life on earth, without ego you won't feel yourself, you will be cold-hearted, a lack of passion....etc. So ego is important in this ertheral life, and we shouldn't ignore it definitely as spiritual teachers say.
Ego is for survival in this world. Its purpose ends there. To understand subtle things it is of no use.

The voice is similar for sure. For me asking for celibacy in an ashram and preaching about the end of times continuously are red flags. If you wanna sublimate your prana by method of blue balls, go ahead. But don't push it on others. Same regarding the apocalypse. If you think it's all a metaphor for overcoming the ego, why always connect this to thermonuclear war? Franz Bardon had a very good point when he called solipsism one of the cardinal sins of the magus. Seems like those Brahma Kumaris people really did a number on poor Shunya with that. What a shame! I wish I could tickle him until he cracks. 🤣
@@harryheart6018 follow for example climate science and politics and you will see how much nations invest in weapons and destruction. Climate scientist suffers from pre-traumatic stress syndrome for example. And we can only ask how much drugs politics take to look calm.
