You should make a “scrapper’s PC” where you take all the extra parts from upgrading and cobble them together
I'm pretty sure he gives the parts back lol
@@matiitv1861 I'm pretty sure he doesn't.
@@matiitv1861 No he doesn't. He once gave away a part from a viewer to another viewer.
I do that, always have a pc named "junkbox" made from leftover parts that I use for random utility things (testing hard drives and other hardware, trying out new linux releases or network tools etc).
I like this idea
For those of you wondering, the specs of this build were: Ryzen 7 1700, 32GB RAM (running at 2133, probably capable of more, but you know, zen 1 architecture..) and a XFX RX 5700XT RAW II.
I am always curious what the specs of these builds are... Didn't hear them in the video, so here you go.
at first it didnt look that dirty but now i see that it is quite the dust magnet
It doesn't look particularly dirty at all. I'd have expected 99% of PCs to have more dirt in them than that.
Man i wish we could see temps before and after , would definitely motivate some people to clean their pc’s
Ooo, yeah! That would be really cool to see.
It's probably like 2-5°c difference if it is lightly dirty, and around 10-20°c if it's really dirty and including the thermal paste replace. Now I don't really know that much, it's just speculation
I'm obsessed with these videos!
Man i found this playlist and just binged it. i love that its not only "building" pc's but cleaning and helping folks see what gets where and honestly how rough you can be with some of the components and not breaking anything. keep up the great work
Welcome aboard!
I’m always looking forward to the BGM of these videos.. 😆
I didn't know I could feel so relaxed just by watching a cleaning montage with awesome bgm...
I wonder if until the be quiet partnership ends he'll replace every case
I do think going with an airflow case was a good idea, because I have a case with little ventalation, and my fans are a bit loud
Im starting to think greg just hates nzxt s340s
*Looks to my s340 bought from frys 6 years ago
@Justin Fife im planning to replace the front with a mesh panel
This was my rig in the video. I'm pretty sure it's a s430 elite.
I also never got the dust filter for the front panel with my order.
Nope I'm just completely wrong. Been thinking it was a s430 all these years. 😂😅
@@TheStoneyYoshi they really were not that different tbh. I have the s340, but my friend has an elite. They're basically the same.
Congrats on the flip tho!
Greg is slowly replacing every case in Florida with a BeQuiet case lol
Thanks for the inspiration to clean my rig, However mine was apparently mega dirty as it looked like I was scraping cow shit from the fan blades. It was pretty damn disgusting. Yet with a days worth of patience I was able to get everything nice and clean. Picked up some nice wood cotton swabs that helped alot.
As always, Greg, fantastic stuff. This is one of my favourite series on UA-cam right now. I definitely prefer it to Tech Yes City’s new stuff. The fact you are willing to help others in your local area is very admirable. Keep up the fantastic work mate.
I wish you had a section at the end where you get the viewers reaction after you're done with it
I just love how the beats of the music literally matched to each of the screw he unscrewed
it's so satisfying isn't it, that had to be intentional
I'm sending these videos two of my friends for whom I built PCs. It also pushes me a bit to keep my system maintained a lot more than previously. I now inspect and dust out the system at least every two months and my dust filters every week. Thanks for another great episode.
I bought the electric duster and tool kit after your previous videos and use them myself and I will say they work great.
@LisboKate It is charged via micro USB. Comes with the brush extension you see Greg using, as well as slightly longer extension with no brush. And a USB-to-micro USB charge cable.
Nice job! Great case for the rebuild. The 500DX and be quiet components are some of my favorites. You channel is one of my favorites as well.
Not only is this series incredibly satisfying and calming to watch, but it evens inspires me to do the same for a few of my friends PC's which are horrendous to say at the least. It irks me every time I see their PC's and I just want to take it all apart and do a deep clean. Luckily I myself clean mine regularly, I ain't ever letting mine get to that sort of state. Keep up the good work Greg, always finding myself coming back to this series just to sit back and relax.
Beautiful job Greg. I wash my cases with a hose too. And I sometimes use a leaf blower to dry them out. Good job buddy. I really like that BE QUIET case. Nice.
My partner just gifted me the be quiet 500DX case for my birthday, after i saw it many times on your channel and thought it looked very neat. I just assembled everything, which was the first time for me by the way, (also learned that from you) and it is just as amazing as you said! Thanks a lot for your amazing tips and for sharing so many useful facts and tricks!
Hey bud. From my side i wanna say thank you for the series. It helps me to see how a proper cleaning needs to be done and secondly helps me troubleshoot and help friends with about the same issues. Keep it up and love the vids
You are amazing! I live in Australia but your vids are so cool keep up the great work !!
Thanks for the support down under! :-D
@@GregSalazar lmao
WELL so much for the "never pull power supplies apart" . Very clean build after, wish I could get this treatment on my PC, my case is hot trash.
@Kachongui Kach Probably, I just remember him saying he never takes PSUs apart in an older video.
You make so peaceful videos! Makes me learn so much about PC components... And the music in the video helps in sleep! 😂😂Great video Greg!
What a nice view at the ending of video. Clean purple/black build and like a always perfect cleaning 🙂🙂
Keep the cleaning up as I enjoy watching and find it relaxing
Best series keep it up! Also I posted a comment asking for pc building advice and it got deleted so I apologize if I broke any rules.
@@GregSalazar Oh I think I might have sent it but I didn't lol.
@@zeno9403 UA-cam bot probably deleted it, false positive. It has an unfortunate habit of doing that.
@@taggerman6867 Maybe. I think it's because I posted a pcpartpicker link
These videos are hypnotic and with the minimal techno it is a pleasure.
Amazing video like always! Love this series and fix or flop
I really like when folks give back to the community. It tells a lot about the content creators who truly care.
This is awesome, keep up the good work Greg. A good way to start a morning for me
good job ... surely owner will be happy with the end result ... keep up the good work my friend!
Thanks again Greg for cleaning my PC! Loving the new case too!! 😁
"..I think you know what's about to happen.."
Me: *Gets bin ready to vomit in*
I really digged the video. Keep up the good work. I really like the new case too.
Great video. Nice job on the cleaning.
My recommendation to this owner - to make it look so much nicer, get some black and red sleeved cable extensions. They'll make everything look so much better.
@Matasa Agreed, I got white for mine. Black and white build, makes a bug difference!
Been skipping commenting and clicking right away, exactly because as you said, work.
But I don't miss one of these or the Fix or Flop series!
Never stop making them, please!
I love watching your video. PCDC series is like meditation. I am saving for my first PC. Much love from INDIA.
Nice to see this videos so satisfying to watch and many thanks for cleaning those pc's for free
Thank god you uploaded, your videos are amazing !
A realy cool looking System. Espaccialy the details, like the twisted AMD Logo on the stock cooler in the right position. Normaly it is turned by 90 degrees. Greatings from Germany!
These videos are just pure therapy well done Greg! This one was pretty dirty!
The level of detail is unmatched. Definitely worth hitting the like button.
Love this series aswell as the fix or flop these vids are so relaxing
Another theraputic PC cleaning, I am from the UK so this popped up at 11.50pm so i stayed up as i couldn't wait until the morning. I hope you have plans for series 3/4 and onwards. keep up the great content
When you were sitting on your couch, talking about your cleaning equipment, I looked to the right of your couch and saw that it was frayed. I then thought, "Hmmm, does he have cats?" Then your cat appeared in the background while you were cleaning and I laughed. That couch fraying thing, I've experienced it too, with our cats. Hubby adored our cats, but he wasn't too happy about with what they were doing to our couch, since it was relatively new at the time.
Also, I guess this deep cleaning was one of the rare times you actually took apart the power supply to clean it. I understand why you don't do that now, but it was fascinating to see what was inside the power supply case.
Another nice PCDC video! Hugs from Brazil, man :D
Love your work Greg.
Awesome job Greg, i love the series !!
Thanks again for another great vid!
Changing parts, like the case, makes cleaning really easy!
I have that be quiet case, love it. It’s great value and works really well
I'm building a PC for a friend in the 500DX this weekend, so this came at the right time.
the hands of gregs watch going round fast was oddly satisfying also always enjoy seeing the green tape of cwt power supplys
Looking great!!!I also Do these cleanings for clients. You sir are very detailed.Great Vid!!
Super satisfying man, keep up the great work. I'd dirty up my system just to send to you. Your work is appreciated sir!
Nice, I just noticed your star set Vinyl. Good band / album looked signed as well. Pretty jelly!
Looks awesome, a spritz of 303 aerospace would bring the finish up nicely and give some UV protectant. Love the series keep them coming.
I like the old school Yate Loon fan being used in the PSU. I had some of those back in the day. Good fan for the $$$!
I need this man's PC cleaning playlist! that music is sensational
This entire series is amazing keep it up please
These videos are like a therapy to me. i really wish be quiet and fractal design cases were available in my country. they look really well made and give a slick look. anyways great video as always greg.
You can tell he's actually a cat person and doesn't just have one around as a video cameo. Did you all see his couch? Ah, but that is love. The cattos love couches. I don't know why, but no scratching post ever has the same feeling for their little peets. Must claw couch! It's all good though. Things are just things. Cats are family.
Love this series and channel 👍👍
keep up i like your vid and professionnel work 🔥
Good looking build, the vertical GPU makes it stand out nicely.
Why do I find these type of videos so therapeutic ??
Then wanting to mimic and clean dirty pc’s
Great vids Greg .. huge fan all the way from Leeds in England .. #mot
Thanks I normally just use a can and get where i can. It was interesting to see the powersupply, video card and all the covers on the motherboard
WELL DONE GREG!! SO SATISFYING
Yessss !!! Another episode, finally!! But am a lil bit late, but still satisfying to watch your video.
Finally. You showed the psu cleandown.
It should be relatively safe as long as caps are discharged (push power button while power cord is disconnected).
love wut you do keep up the good work man :)
Awe man your videos help me out with keeping my pc clean (i7 9700k, 3060 zotac) good video
The music for this video was fantastic
You know what would be cool if possible?
If you could post some before and after temps, would be nice to see how much of an improvement these deep cleans provide.
Even more so when the case is swapped from one with poor airflow to one with great airflow.
ha thats cool to see, i actually replaced my H510 with a 500DX recently. Its just soooo much better with the temps and..it still looks awesome. Cool Case
I'm glad you took the cover off the power supply this time!
I don't think it's too dangerous and, at the very least, those things normally need a good blowing out.
Those videos makes me feel satisfied, and yet makes me think about more ways to build a PC and so on
really enjoying this category
Looks great Greg.
love this series bro
Love it man keep it!!
Love the dedication!
Really great series
Was going to say .." Dirty? Till I saw the fans..."
Love the series, Greg. You definitely have more patience than I do, sir.
Love these videos and can't get enough...
Always satisfying to watch a PC getting deep cleaned. 🙂
Greg has very empowering videos with this series!
Have you ever tried using dissolvent to clean heaksinks? Even after a clean with alcohol you will get tons more dirt off, but it does leave a residue that can be removed with alcohol.
Another fine video from Mr. Salazar
PS: The music is fantastic
a very underrated content creator in my eyes, I appreciate your work brother.
Man I love your channel
You’re a criminal for not replacing the 24 pin, that build is so clean and black, this literally talked me out of the h510
So satisfying 🤩
this case is growing on me! what part was used to get the gpu vertical? i would love mine to be in the same case?
So chill plus cat cameo!
S340 Elite is my first and only case. It has treated me well. although I am a performance junkie. so I ultimately took the front panel off for airflow lol. The dust filter was not affecting his temps. I guarantee it was him using stock coolers and stock fans and expecting lower temps.
