I never would have guessed Charlton Heston and Roy Kinnear would have been friends but I like that they were.

Such a shame about Roy Kinnear so untimely.

He spoke at the Oxford Union once and it was excruciating. He was quite old and rather frail at that point and instead of being invited to talk about his acting or films, he was invited to talk about the NRA and spent the whole time reading in monotone from a teleprompter. However, most of the questions from the audience were about his films and he did say that he did not know why he had been invited to talk about the NRa rather than about his films and that he did not mind answering questions about his films.

He was such a familiar face to children of the 70s and 80s, I was genuinely devastated when he passed in 88; one of many childhood illusions that end up shattered at the hands of time.

His son, Rory Kinnear, does his father's legacy proud. Just look at everything in which Rory appears; he elevates its it.

Where did the Beeb get the audience from? A funeral march?

So did the crew wash down the cobblestone by mistake and that's why he's horse slipped
