I think the rubber slaps are ace tbh, slabs would be such a pain of you went to move it later on, it will work as good as slabs I'd think so anyway! Ace job 👍🏼 Rob the legend

You are awesome and inspiring me! I've bought a second hand greenhouse for my allotment. The sides are all complete, I just have to bolt the sides together. Did you just use the same small square bolts to fix the sides together or are they longer ones - I just can't figure it out!
Did you pay particular attention to or do anything particular to level the base before you erected the greenhouse? I've bought some of those plastic grids that slot together and you fill with gravel and hoping that will be enough to support the frame as I cant put concrete down. Any advice much appreciated!
Hey yes everything was put together with the same size bolts! Unless you have some larger ones? Suppose some greenhouses can be built differently. I didn’t really level the base at all, I just picked a level spot. It’s not perfect but it isn’t really effecting the greenhouse. Best of luck!
Love this! Were the rubber tiles enough to support the greenhouse? was it ok to give a level base? I've just got a little 8 x 6ft 2nd hand greenhouse. On my own and just wondering the best (easiest for me to lay) base would be?
Hello! Yes the rubber tiles have worked really well. I don’t regret putting them down so far! I guess the most important thing was to make sure I could secure the greenhouse down to them and through to the ground.
@@bloomandgray Brilliant - I saw you used tent pegs to secure it to the ground. Can I ask how long your pegs were? And did they get in the way when you came to glaze the sides? You can tell this is taking me forever!
The pegs were maybe about 6inches or longer? There’s one that I can’t bray all the way in because it stops the glass from going in properly but it’s fine. We’ve had some extremely strong winds over here since I put it up and it’s stood still perfectly.

What hardiness zone are you?
I believe zone 8? We don’t really use zones in the uk?
