Sam, about the neon lights, you should write to the Mayor of the city, you are right, they shouldn’t be in the museum, but out there for all to see and tourists, especially the vintage ones. Sometimes, countries in Asia want to change and move too quickly to new ways, but it’s important to preserve the heritage. Like Victor, I share the love of the colour green, it’s nature, purity, freshness, calmness and newness. Another awesome video. Have a good week!
I get such nostalgia every time I watch your videos, honestly! Can’t wait to come back next year. I love HK’s neons so I’m so happy you captured the exhibition but so painfully aware that there are less and less every time I come back to visit. I also realised that the new Korean restaurant you visited was a restaurant I used to go to with my family as they live right by there, things have changed so much!
Love the vlog as usual and this time, especially love the music you guys chose. I love your vlogs....Thank you for spending effort and energy into each one.
I love your videos so much! Me and my husband are traveling to Hong Kong in October and finding your channel has helped so much with where we want to visit
Thanks for sharing! It was fun to see all is the food and exciting beautiful places in ur city! I’m mesmerized by the colors, outfits and architecture. ❤❤❤I can’t wait for the next video. 🎉
Lovely vlog! Always enjoy your videos they are so relaxing . Hong Kong has so many scenic and unique places to see. The restaurant game is strong! The library one looked so elegant and food would be 5 star . Glad you got your pipes fixed , but having use of your kitchen is so frustrating. ❤
I lived in HK for 12 years Tai Po and Tsuen Wan going back next year for a well earned dose of HK life again, I love your videos makes me feel kinda home sick. All the places you have showed in past videos i have been to especially the aussie dairy co that place is sooooo great and just a no frills good humble cafe love it thank you
The new Bacha Coffee is so nice and pleasing atmosphere. Too bad it did not have an area for dine-in. I kind of understand why. People would sit and never leave.
Hi! I was wondering where you would suggest one to shop for the most cost friendly disposable cameras for a wedding? I remember you guys going to a place in ymt or Mk? Thank you in advance!
Hi Sam! I'm planning a short trip to HK and am overwhelmed by the various Chanel locations. Any two locations in mind that are your favorite or usually have a good stock?
Did not know that Gelato Messina had spread internationally…there are still lines here even thought its been in sydney for ages…but their ice cream is worth it!
@@SamandVictor i always go for their Dulce de Leche, hokey pokey or pistachio…but i also have a massive sweet tooth. They may have toned down the sweetness for the local palette though, so always worth trying before you buy (they usually give samples on paddle pop/wooden sticks/small spoons)…BUT always look out for the specials - sometimes they have themes like Chinese New Year or halloween or Christmas or even pride week 😊
The Cafe and pastry shops you visit in HK are off the hook. Oh,and I apologize for my ignorance, I didn't know that so many people in HK actually are fluent English speakers. 😮
No building has burnt down in the history of Hong Kong, because of neon lights. It's not a safety issue, it's just an issue for the HK Government to get make us forget happier times. They focus on neon lights, but are happy to ignore basic building structural issues, which has caused concrete to falls on cars/people. Disgraceful. (Sorry for ranting) :-)

I agree, neon lights were a huge part of HK heritage and identity. I enjoyed this vlog a lot, thanks Sam and Victor! :))
Always enjoy seeing what you two are up to! The fantastic life of Sam and Victor!
I like the combination of music with your video it’s like story telling plus it’s so soothing to listen …. I feel so relax!
Thank you so much!

Sunday afternoon in London... Sam & Victor vlog... Super relaxing as always.. have a great weekend everyone.
Hope you have a great Sunday!
The new Bacha Coffee is so nice and pleasing atmosphere. Too bad it did not have an area for dine-in. I kind of understand why. People would sit and never leave.
I know- I wish it had an outdoor Moroccan courtyard.. but this is hk and space is so limited 🤣
I miss hong kong dearly! now that i'm studying abroad for college watching your beautiful vlogs always make me feel at home again ❤
Visiting Hong Kong and saw Sam’s picture featured on the wall of 北京道/中間道 underpass. Such a nice surprise!
The seemingly out of place Tide To Go before eating out in white t-shirts is actually next-level organised 😄 I'm adopting it.
You’re officially my favorite vloggers now
❤ fr: Philippines
Thanks guys. You always make me want to go back to HK. Will visit soon.
the night scenes and Victor's new camera accessory ❤❤

thank you!!! Pilates is fun especially if you go with a friend!
I also did a vlog abt the neon signs, but you guys made it so aesthetic as usual 💕 loving it
Did you go to the exhibit or you went out hunting for them around the city?
@@SamandVictor No, i went to the exhibition. I did spot some around the mongkok and filmed, but i was definitely not hunting purposely 😅🤭
The black top with the flower was such a good buy. It’s very Magda Butrym 🖤🌹 and love the Chanel 🕶️
I love that collection but it’s so $$$ 🥹
Really enjoy your videos, so relaxing :) btw where did you get your necklace?
It’s from bychari
Hi Victor - love your channel! Where can I get the camera strap you got? Really like that olive type of green
Amazing vlog! top cinematography!! just got one question, why is the gov taking out the neon lights?

Were the clips in TaiOn shot on the XT4? The coloring looks great!
Yes the majority of that segment was shot on the Fuji! And I agree this cafe works so well with Fuji colors 🥹
Thanks for comming Antidote!!
If it’s the same Messina as the Australian version you are in for a real treat!

Hi Sam! I'm planning a short trip to HK and am overwhelmed by the various Chanel locations. Any two locations in mind that are your favorite or usually have a good stock?
I prefer the tst one as it’s the largest (the one featured here)
Hi Sam and Vic, when is the art gallery having this neon light exhibition till?
Sept 3!
Hello May i Know which location is on 13:07?
Videos really nice, makes me want to go Hong Kong
Can you do an entire vlog from the Fuji camera alone you bought?❤
Watch the previous Hong Kong vlog! It’s all about shopping for used cameras and gear
Oh my bad you want a review? Will do one mb after we shoot more with it first :)
Neon lights b-roll is just missing a Tony Leung monologue about how difficult it is to be in a relationship with someone or something
Thank you
Did not know that Gelato Messina had spread internationally…there are still lines here even thought its been in sydney for ages…but their ice cream is worth it!
Any flavor you rec? I heard it’s super sweet so I haven’t gone yet

Yeahhhhhhh first 😂😂😂 ! 😘🇨🇵
Here’s your coooookie! 🍪 thanks tuning in 🎉
sounds you don't do much haul in Hermes
I'm listing that BACHA Coffee to my list T_T
The Cafe and pastry shops you visit in HK are off the hook. Oh,and I apologize for my ignorance, I didn't know that so many people in HK actually are fluent English speakers. 😮
Where can I buy that game? It sounds fun!
I love neon lights! But they are fire hazards so it’s really a safety issue. Better to opt for LED light neon signages instead

I really love your videos guys (L)
Cool video really enjoy the scenery and culture from Hialeah Flo.
I feel like Sam always thinks the food is “alright”
Lol true- i guess my alright means it was decent but I prob won’t return immediately >
Hey guys, does anyone know why they have been removing the lights from the city and into museums?
One day , I ll be there
Ah man, really sucks about the flood!
Yea not sure why. Randomly decided to flood everywhere 😢
Do you guys know Em and Lloyd? They are competiting with you. Similar UA-cam Channel.
Hooked on this channel
Thanks for tuning in 🎉
Yeahhh 🎉❤
stephen
it's so sad they removed these neon lights ....
Want to cry because they took down all the neon signs from hk. Idiots destroyed the city vibe
I know… I really regret not photographing more of the neon signs back in 2018- should try and get as many as I can now :S
