I can understand what you are saying, but in this instance, nothing meant anything to anyone but Mitchell. Give him one last moment to remember. He'll remember every botched catch, every missed shot, and his basket, forever.@@issakakish
1:51 Mr. Jonathan Montañez, almost ten years later, your decision continues to make people you will never meet cry with happiness. Thanks. That was the best play of his life.
This brought tears to my eyes. I love to see how they had love for him even in the last moments of the game. God I pray for many blessing for Jonathan his family and both teams and their families couching staff and the whole school.

Johnathan you are an amazing young man with compassion for your fellow man. Your parents must be so proud i am proud of you. Thank you, young Man, for making this miracle happen
I had to play this story 4 or 5 times over with tears of joy rolling down my face. 😂 Two beautiful people sharing 1 beautiful moment, inspiring thousands. God bless moments like these. 🙏🏾
Some things mean more than the score. For this child and his parents to have this small moment of joy to share with others is a true blessing. The boy who passed him the ball is a young man with vision and compassion for others. Remember, it’s a funny thing about special needs. We all have them. Well done young man.
As a parent of 3grown special needs children I am so proud of the boy who passed the ball to Jonathan what a show of true sportsmanship and of Jonathan for his dedication to the team and the coach for what he said and did for Hi onarhan
Great coach.Said he was willing to lose the game to give him his moment.Kudos to all. I think I saw an angel sitting up on the backboard. There was no way in heaven that shot wasn't going down. This IS what sport should be all about.
I have to admit that I got choked up watching this. During these horrible times, this act by this young man and coach gave me hope for humanity. This is the perfect example of why I prefer amateur sports. Watching young people playing for the love of the game is preferable to watching the it's all about me players in the major leagues.
Thank you Lord, for all the great people in the story including all the fans. I know you were extremely happy. The coach and school must be extremely proud also
This is one of those moments that give me some hope for our future. Both teams deserve high praise for a game well played. And yes, I cried when Mitchel made that last basket.
My grandson has C.P. he got to play this year with the schools basketball team. It was so heart warming to see, not only his team pass him the ball, but the opposing team as well. Then all stood back, as he made as many free throws as it took to make a basket. This little act of kindness didn't make, or break a game. It did make a boys heart soar.
EVERTIME I cry, my son was special and he loved basketball so watching these special moments always bring back great memories and happy tears. Bless the ones who helped and loved this very specia person. Always remember, can't out give God!!!
It's absolutely amazing when you give a special needs child his dream to a star in whatever they are truly passionate about I couldn't stop the tears it was so beautiful
Absolutely Beautiful! Hats off too young man who threw the ball to this young player Mitchell. Praises for BOTH TEAMS TO ALLOW THIS YOUNG MAN HIS SPECIAL DAY IN GLORY. YES! I'M WIPING TEARS NOW! I had a cousin who had special needs. He was truly SPECIAL TO US. Love these stories! 😊🤗🙏🏀

Class act!!!! That kid will go far in life. Every kid that plays basketball should have to watch that 10 times. While sportsmanship was well alive in this game unfortunately it is not the norm……

Best thing is he said the best part of that game was he got a lifelong friend in Mitchell out of it!
That young man showed class, sportsmanship and compassion. He and his parents should be extremely proud. Bravo
He should be on a "good sportsmanship" committee. He could travel around to all of the sports franchises and give lectures on being decent.
I can't IMAGINE how proud those parents are of their kid...
That young man that passed him the ball... that's the type of child I'm trying to raise
Mitchell‘s mom isn’t the only one crying after this inspiring story. Outstanding especially during the current Christmas season.
what does your christmas have anything to do with it?
Stop claiming anything to make your stupid religion look good. the receipts of damage are there

It's not inspiring. It's bullshit. Id be pissed if I was that kid. I'm handicapped and I hate when people try to treat me like that.
