It should be said, numnum cat was delivered using technology such as the internet, which can now be delivered via items that easily fit in our pockets, which would have fit with "extremely advanced" ideals in 1985 when I was small. Lots of their ideas of advanced technology included advanced pocket screens or computer watches which did functional video calls. That technology is now more or less mature. So in some way we're behind the dreams of our father's generation, in some ways we're well ahead of it. It's just how these things go.
