Perfectly clear and understandable directions without saying a word..... I LOVE it!! Less is truly more!! Very nice, simple hanger!! Just what I was looking for!! 💕💕💕
I just made this and it was so simple - thank you so much for the great instructions, I have been dying to make one for months and was scared to try - you are right it was super easy!
Love this so much! Easy steps & the video is so aesthetic. Thank you for the video! If I may suggest, you could consider adding the measurement of your pot so that we as audience have a rough idea of how much to lengthen or shorten ours according to our own pot sizes.
This was my first try on macrame it it came out wonderful! It was all thanks to this wonderful tutorial! I posted the results and tagged you on Instagram!
Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that I have watched a dozen videos doing the same exact thing. However, I just wanted to let you know that I wish I would have found you 1st because I would not have needed to waste my time with those other videos. You pointed out things that were important and the speed at the way you did it was perfect. I can't wait until I can get out and purchase this rope. I am so excited to make one of these. So thank you so much, I learnt a great deal. Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for sharing your vedio now I have another thing to learn beautiful design of macrame I love it so your music as well very soothing new subscribers watching from California
Really great tutorial, well explained and good slowed shots exactly there were needed! :) And the music is really calming! Just made my first ever macrame anything and really happy with my plant hanger :) Thank you so much for this video!!
Wonderful learning experience and resutl. A few tips that I learned and this was my first marcrame piece: please tell us to alternate sides when doing the square knot otherwise it twists (another knot style), the wrap knot can be 2 feet length of rope not 3 feet. And the overall length of rope can be 8 feet not 10 feet in length, I wasted 2 feet at the end.
Wonderful tutorial, thankyou. I am obsessed with the first piano tune, please can you name it, I need to learn to play it after I make some plant hangers. Again thankyou.
very nice!! how do you figure out how long to cut the strings for a certain length you want .. say if i want it to hang top to bottom including fringe about 40 inches finished?
Thanks very much for the tutorial! This is really nice but we made one and there's quite a lot of excess rope at the end. Could have used shorter lengths for the 6x chords. But otherwise, so good!
Thank you!! All of the music I use is from Epidemic Sound in their acoustic piano section - if there’s a couple in particular you liked I could probably track down the names of them 👍
hello, do we have to use 6 pieces of cord? i ask bc my macrame cord is 4.5mm and if i do 6 strings with that, i think the hanger will end up a lot thicker than i want it to be.
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind in future videos - in this tutorial I wanted to leave some room for anyone who had bigger sized pots than me/preferred a longer fringe
You could also daisy chain another hanger with the leftover depending on how much extra you have and if you're interested in the idea. I'm just saying because I also thought I had a lot of extra left and it didn't occur to me to do another one until my girlfriend pointed it out to me.
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial, you've made it very easy to follow and the music is amazing! I made the plant hanger and it came out perfectly!

approx. top to bottom how long is the hanger once finished,.thanks for your beautiful tutorial.
I love your tutorial as a beginner I’m planning to try it in the next couple days! How long is it when it’s finished?
Wonderful tutorial, thankyou. I am obsessed with the first piano tune, please can you name it, I need to learn to play it after I make some plant hangers. Again thankyou.

I am planning to make one. How long do you suggest the cord should be please. Don't want to waste the cord. Thanks
Thank you for great video, by the way could you possibly tell me what kind of plant is it?
It’s a fake plant I got on Amazon, but I think it’s supposed to look like a “pilea” also called a “Chinese money plant” 🙂
hi, l made the hanger and turn out great. Thanks! Could you please tell me the name of the hanging plant at the beginning of the video?
Hi, I really love your tutorial, thank you! 😊
Can you please tell me what's the name of the plant?
Chinese money plant 🤗
@@madebyhandbyallison Thank you so much😊
What do you hang your wooden rings on if You don't mind me asking I need something like that
I use large “s” hooks hanging on a super cheap clothing rack I bought from ikea
Great video , love the music . Who is playing the songs ? Thank you!
Thank you!! All of the music I use is from Epidemic Sound in their acoustic piano section - if there’s a couple in particular you liked I could probably track down the names of them 👍
made by hand. Could you name the beautiful tune that plays in the beginning please.
Your tutorial is wonderful too.
hello, do we have to use 6 pieces of cord? i ask bc my macrame cord is 4.5mm and if i do 6 strings with that, i think the hanger will end up a lot thicker than i want it to be.
Good tutorial but I feel like I wasted a lot of cord with these measurments cutting the bottom off at the end
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind in future videos - in this tutorial I wanted to leave some room for anyone who had bigger sized pots than me/preferred a longer fringe

Can anyone who made this let me know what the finish length of it please. Did you use 10 feet? I saw some suggestions to use 7 or 8 feet.
👍🥰🙏💐🍀🎀🧶🧵🖤💛❤belgique
Good tutorial but too much excess cord wasted imo
8feet per cord would have been better!! Lots of waste/extra...but beautiful hanger in the end!!
Sadly wasted SOOO much cord 😢 cutting the cords 10ft for something this simple is too long. 7-8ft would be better.
Nice and easy but the measurements are way too long!
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial, you've made it very easy to follow and the music is amazing! I made the plant hanger and it came out perfectly!
