Hey Rich, I work for an aftermarket diesel parts company in BC. Looks like you’re waiting a long time for your parts in that crate. Do you have an email I can get you at? Long time fan of the Channel. Would love to help
Hey Rich, most of us don't give a rat's rump if you end up putting a Briggs in a rickshaw. You are safe harbor and a big boy's Wubbie in a world of scumbags and slimy politicians. Scale some rust, bore and sleeve something most of us have never seen one much less worked one. Rock on, Fearless Leader.
The wonder is that there isn't a bag full of purloined bunny and poached deer hair and dried blood to go with the .22 shells. What is the going rate for expended brass in eastern Ontario??
Hellz ya I'm surprised you didn't find live rounds I have spilt a few under the seat I'm sure ..coyotes lol! squirrels brother ,squirrels oh ya and road signs ...lol.
You'd be surprised just how many Canadian trucks have brass in their nooks and crannies, it's not a state thing, it's a truck thing. That .22lr brass just finds it's way in the remotest of places tho.
Got sent here from the skid factory when you guys started Al's project, think I've now watched all! of your videos (took a while eh?) Love the down to earth attitude. Respect from the UK. 👍 Anyone reading this who hasn't already, please go and check out the skid factory and show them some love. Awesome guys, deserve more subscribers.
For the record rich any truck you get from North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, or any of the central flyover states such as Wyoming, Oklahoma, South Dakota, will most likely be full of shell casings like that. It's just what we do here.
I’m honestly probably more excited for this than anything else on the channel. You had me at p-pump 24v in the Silverado, and was even more excited with the 5 speed and compounds
To hell what people say about stuff not working and just wanted content now, dude you've a savage channel that is really informative and entertaining, two things that most channels lack, stay going with what you want to do, hello from Ireland by the way hahaha
You can reuse this silica gel packets when they're saturated by heating them in the oven on the lowest setting for a few hours to dry then back out. 3d printer nerds do this often for plastics that absorb moisture
16:50 Yeah I know exactly how you feel had last year completely free so I tried to finish them but with every project the more time you have the more time you spend waiting it seems.
I just empty a bag of silica gel kitty litter in the bottom of my body shells when they're in storage (it's very cheap) and works really well, I just vacuum it out, dry it in the sun and re use it.
15:40 No-no-no, You've got it wrong. It's the South. Shell casing like that are good luck. Its like having an air freshener that keeps the bad mojo away too!
Zolatone (undercoating similar to GM trunk spatter paint) on the underside and engine compartment would be a cool departure from basic black bedliner. Black bed liner looks great when brand new but quickly goes down hill once it gets dirty due to its properties unlike paint. They sell the stuff on Amazon and is more affordable than the cheapest bedliner.
Got a confession to make. Every time I here someone say aboot I always get a mental image of Terence and Philip. It was just a matter of time before someone else got it. Rock on and cheers! 🍻👍
Might be in the margins here but way more excited for the cummins Silverado then the cat in the ford jeep up the good work can't wait to watch the trucks next stages of life
Loving the Skid factory cross over team! Also, I think this channel put me on to Vice Grip Garage as well - As a New Zealander, the cars are a little unrelatable, but all the same, the content is awesome!
Kinda funny that I’m Canadian and a couple years ago I found Deboss garage channel because the Skid Factory listed their favourite channels in one of their videos.
Good old Turbo Yoda had me crying at the start . . Came here from skid factory and loving every vid even went back and starting from ep1 .. love it ey 🤣🤣
What are you going to do with the frame? Court Galvanzing in Cambridge could hot-dip it I bet. Sooner or later I'm going to need a donor vehicle to swap my '95 winter daily/summer camping truck 12v P-pump into and the GMT800 platform seems to make the most sense, looking forward to the rest of the series!
I would've kept my Dakota if not for the frame bending when I put it on a hoist. Gotta love Wisconsin. Its gotta be nice to live down south with no rust
Man, this looks like a really nice project. Wish I could do the same to my Corolla, strip it completely and rebuild it, but I don't have a second car for backup transport...
I worked on the cop car once that was full of 9 mm casings in cowl area, it jammed up the wiper motor. I imagine it was part of some shooting exercise using the car as covered.

Sick craftsman shirt! Have their dril/driver and recip saw. Decent starter tools for wood working.
Already sub'd but have you done a cummins swapped power stroke? Think about the name stroke 'n cum lol
My brain wasn’t ready for Turbo Yoda to talk like that.
The rest of my day is a write-off now. I need to process whatever just happened.
I don’t think turbo yoda was ready either.
I don’t anybody’s brain could be ready for that!
Ya that was different.
me either
This gets a like just for the Terrance and Phillip reference
I just watched not without my anus
Same here
so anyway...pull my finger!
How do you make a Canadian happy? Show him fresh sheet metal in an old car.
And gun shells
@@raabsand funny he made such a big deal about a 22 shells. The truck did come from the Carolinas you know.
Well, Al’s Canadian accent is definitely better than Rich’s Australian accent 😂
Fair dinkum cobber!
The Silverado is like grandpas axe, the best axe he ever had, 2 new heads and 5 new handles, damn it was a good axe.
You take your time chap We are well going to watch all of your videos, They are Awsome
Thanks, appreciate it
i absolutely love how my two favourite channels are friends and both take the piss out of each other
Bruh shell casings on the dash are par for the course in SC
The wonder is that there isn't a bag full of purloined bunny and poached deer hair and dried blood to go with the .22 shells.
What is the going rate for expended brass in eastern Ontario??
Same here in Oklahoma. It would be odd if there wasn't any.

Nothing better than Torx screws... :D
gotta love america lol, im sure my truck has just as many casing in it as that thing. looks like someone was having fun with a 10/22
Love the intro, love the fact everything on your property has wheels too! 🤣
I so love this Cummins Silverado. So glad your are rebuilding this truck from the ground up! 👌👌👌

Dude. .22 shells are just someone plinking out in the country.
It was a government truck all its life though
@@DEBOSSGARAGE "They was pickin' off annoyin' critters back by the still they was watchin'. " - Jethro A. Bodine
@@DEBOSSGARAGE That just means they got to plink in full auto!
@@DEBOSSGARAGE A government truck in North Carolina trust me if they goof off as much as they lean on shovels they probably were plinking
@@DEBOSSGARAGE That just means they did it while on the clock. lol
Torx are the greatest screws made no question
If you haven't done it yet. There is a product called Lizzard Skin. Its a spray on Undercoating Sound Deadener that is harder than regular Undercoat.
Heater core starts to leak...
Time for a frame off rebuild!
As a fellow Canadian, I thank you for throwing out the torx screws. Also I got my tape bosses in mail about 3 weeks ago. Thanks Rich.
i am glad youtube finally let me see you vids again. keep up the good work.
almost 500k subscribers bud i remember watching you when you had less than 80k keep up the great content buddy!
Thanks for sticking around!
I love see my local diesel shop work with people Iv watched for a while
Great to see another cummins in the shop
I bought the same tires for my F350 a few months back, they are fantastic in the snow!
Yep, almost died from Al's intro!!
His Canadian impression better than Deboss's Aussie accent.
Cant wait till both are built and the drag race and pulling power race are under way!
"you don't need a permit if its got wheels, so a lot of stuff in my property has wheels" Rich you legend 😂
Smarter then the average bear, they cant charge you cause its not permanent storage, unlike seacans
@@dtoshredneck I'd be putting wheels on seacans.
You need a permit for a storage building on your own property? 🤷♂️
Thanks for everything.
For the record rich any truck you get from North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, or any of the central flyover states such as Wyoming, Oklahoma, South Dakota, will most likely be full of shell casings like that. It's just what we do here.
Turbo-Yoda and a Southpark reference in the same episode? love it
That Al caught me so off guard I probably need a week to recover from the shock. 🤣
I'm glad two off my favorite automotive channels get along so well.
So disappointed that you couldn't get down here to hang out with Al and Woody. Love your work!
I’m honestly probably more excited for this than anything else on the channel. You had me at p-pump 24v in the Silverado, and was even more excited with the 5 speed and compounds
Rust proof it like no ones done before, that truck needs to live on
Will do
Just some .22s no big deal probably just a good day of plinking
If you don't find at least a handful of spent 22 shells, you're not working on a farm truck.
Life in 'Murica
From inside of the truck?
To hell what people say about stuff not working and just wanted content now, dude you've a savage channel that is really informative and entertaining, two things that most channels lack, stay going with what you want to do, hello from Ireland by the way hahaha
Thanks man!
That opening was fantastic!!
THAT INTRO!! LOLOLOLOL! I love Al soooo much
I’ve been waiting for the turbo yoda intro. The wait was definitely worth it lmfao
So happy the Silverado is getting an upgrade. Wouldn't be fair not to. Thanks
Glad to see an update on the cummins silverado
We also need another video of y'all running around V&R trying to start rusty stuff. Keep it up sir.
Love your shop. Someday I'll have one ........ Someday. Thanks for showing all that. It's simple once you start I guess
You can reuse this silica gel packets when they're saturated by heating them in the oven on the lowest setting for a few hours to dry then back out. 3d printer nerds do this often for plastics that absorb moisture

I love the 'multiple projects' vids Rich. Keep thm coming.
REPPIN ViceGripGarage !!!!! instant thumbs up!
Ho yes wee can go 500,000 subs , love the video on your Silverado Rick .
Took you a week to do this with Al and Woody, and you've done it in 18 minutes. Woody must really slow things down in the shop!
I got the at3s for my 97 jeep Wrangler back in June and I absolutely love them.
I just empty a bag of silica gel kitty litter in the bottom of my body shells when they're in storage (it's very cheap) and works really well, I just vacuum it out, dry it in the sun and re use it.
I love the collaborations! Great work as always!
Sooo much yesss! Do not know how you dont have 1 mill plus subs yet 🤷♂️
Rich is so used to one handed work at this point that even when there's a camera man he's holding a cup of coffee.
I KNEW you were not gonna let the flamethrower go!
13.25 The chemical compound used to absorb water is Silica Gel; Silicone is used for gaskets.
I haven't seen the Mercedes wagon in the background for a long time. I followed that build the whole way and in fact, that's how I found this channel.
Couple leaks that need to be taken care of
@@DEBOSSGARAGE How about a follow up vid on it? It was a great build. Unique and very interesting!
Please go into great detail on the electrical aspects of the swap thanks!
Will do but its pretty simple. The Cummins doesn't need anything to run. The gauges are the only thing that gets difficult

In South Carolina if you have a pickup it is legally required to have guns and ammo readily accessible at all times. SAFETY FIRST!
I have a ton of PDD stuff I love that company
I like that Chevy. I have a set of Toyo at2 tires on my work truck, if the new ones are anything like them they’ll be great tires
