What's your advice to international students looking to come to the UK to get a PGDL. Do you think they have a shot at getting a Training Contract?

Nevermind, the personal growth you achieved through your somewhat turbulent path to law, do you ever wish you just took the law undergrad instead of an extra year for the GDL?
Haha! To answer your question, no I don’t wish I studied law at undergrad. I’d rather do it as a conversion course for a shorter amount of time.

@@Sam-sp3nc the only racist thing is the reason why he got employed in the first place. If you even think this guy got in a magic circle firm with no law experience at all for any other reason than minority quotas, then you need to get your head out of your ass mate and get a reality check.

Minorities quotas don’t cover the people who have ACCESS to these jobs? Even if there is a quota the likelihood of a diverse application pool is slim - not everyone can afford paying for further education/has contacts. People work their arse off for a seat at the table just for stupid comments like this.
@@MsStarface123 You couldn't be more ill informed. I can tell you've never worked in the industry. So keep your irrelevant opinion to yourself and get some experience. Once you've done that, you'll realise a lot of things.
