Pekora is gonna be so confused when she plays the super content
Yea
nah im sure she cant put together it takes place in between buu and the tournament
@@Joaquin-xq5wo No it doesn't. In the manga, nothing eventful happened between Buu and the last tournament, Super is pretty much null and void.
@@inkchariot6147 False, there's no such a statement
@inkchariot6147 it does take place in between, goku even says apparently buu reincarnated but he is still a baby
I now shall give pekora her honorary Latina card
I wish the game added the ending with Goku calling the nimbus and seeing himself as a kid reflected in Uub. The anime obviously didn't have this since this was added in a version of the manga released in 2004, so it would've been cool to have it animated in some way
I haven't played Kakarot myself so I was surprised to find that scene wasn't included. The scene is even in Xenoverse 2 which is like a 7-year-old game
Even when I was younger, I was so mad at Goku for ditching his family for the sake of training Uub.
He literally can use instant transmission. 😅
Yeah same bro
And in namek already he could cross half way the planet in seconds lol😂
I guess it would make some sense if he brings Uub to beerus planet since its far away and he cant teleport, but whis could lol
He first need to know where Uub's village is, before he can use instant transmission to teleport back and forth. He'd surely often go back if only just to fight Vegeta again, because there's no way Goku can wait not fighting strong enemies until Uub become strong enough.
But yeah, everybody knew that Goku is never the father/grandfather of the year.
@@BlackOnyx777 true, but to be fair he's also dead for extended periods of time.
@@orbboom6119 Goku can teleport from Whis' planet, he just needs someone on Earth to rise their ki above a certain level (roughly mastered SSJ1, I'd guess)
Actually i'm so happy the End of Z in this game is Goku back from training Uub just a moment for meeting his family & a promise for rematch with Vegeta.
The Last scene with Goku & Vegeta on the cliff after the rematch and looking at the sky while talking about there must be stronger people somewhere in this universe is better as an ending imo
Really? That's so cool!
@@PrixtoTNT yups, watching it twice and still got a goosebumps
Goku leaving his family to fight with powerful fighters
...... As Toriyama intendent
Rip ❤
I just wish it had included Goku gifting Uub the Kintoun/Flying Nimbus. It's a great way for things to come full circle and really show Uub as the next protector of Earth (if we're pretending Super never happens and everyone didn't just become so incredibly powerful that Uub would be irrelevant by the time he comes around lol)
well uub is the reason goku defeated moro, so super buffed him too
Buu (with GSK), Vegeta (FSF) and Piccolo (the plan) were instrumental in Moro's conclusion (after Gokek fumbled the bag). Uub alone doesn't help.
Goku "Gohan, Chi Chi...l know this is probably tough to hear, but..."
Gohan "Oh no. It's cool."
Chichi "Have fun!"
Goku "Really?"
Chichi "Of course! We've had you home for a decade, now."
Gohan "If anything...a little much."
Goku "Well, you heard em! C'mon, Buu!"
Uub "Uub."
Goku "Buub!"
TFS is just the best xD
I can't wait to see Uub in lots of future adventures.
What A Journey Pekora!
Yes, this is how it ended. And nothing ever happened to change that.
Dread it. Run from it. GT arrives all the same...
while GT has alot of flaws, the baby saga and shadow dragon saga is pretty good, i think GT's ending is pretty good as well.
You don't have to go down the GT route if you don't want to. Toriyama sure as hell didn't.
Cope all you want GT is better than Super
@@lukescrew1981 says a loud minority that only remembers some UA-cam clips from GT.
Now let's us wait for pekora reacting the final " dan dan kokoro"
Kinda criminal they never gave Uub any proper development, even in GT he gets sidelined real quick.
well that's what super is for, if they go past eoz, if they don't, that's stupid because this ending sucks
@@dankerbell >this ending sucks
What ending? Super doesn't have one (Vegeta beats Goku **again**, Gohan is the strongest, Frieza still exists as possibly the biggest threat **easily handled with fusion**, Zeno isn't addressed, etc.). EoZ isn't so different from GT (abandon family/friends).
>Uub
Good luck to me remember the canon much less the non-canon here. Let's pull up the former, at least. **does so** Right. Let's see where we are.
>the end
Kek.
>GT-looking Not-KK power-up
Sure.
>acting like they weren't just flying
Sure. Something many didn't learn until near Z (used to be Crane School, then retroactively made into Demon School **that is actually a knock-off of 'God School'**).
>catches him
Always reminds me of Spopovich with Videl.
>impressive
He's reborn molded to have the potential of his past life as a monster genie. Mind you, nothing suggests he can surpass that potential (and there is no way to get that physiology **or its unique abilities**).
>becoming his master
Like Roshi, he'll teach him nothing. Uub will just have to copy what he sees.
>count on him for money
Definitely not BROKEku. Imagine promising things with another's money (without asking).
>don't "Later" them
Just Gokek things.
>why doesn't Pan go with
Because he's a terrible grandparent, too.
>doesn't sound like he will
Someone is noticing patterns.
>he left Chi-Chi
What's new?
>Vegeta sees through the nonsense
As ever. But it is an absurdity. Gohan is by far the strongest (and they can't come close shy of maybe hybrids if they also use Mystic **not naturally or without using things AT simply put aside**) ignoring the gag power (Arale). Vegeta is the best fighter (always beats Goku). Uub is pointless middle-ground. Pan already exists with more potential for power and more youth. Rather than focus on his own blood, he runs off with a random.
I wanna see the reaction of the beginning 😢, like what she said when she saw Pan
He doesn’t need to live there he can literally travel around the world in seconds it never made sense to me, he acts like he’s going to a different planet
yeah, but when it comes to fighting, he is on his own little world
Its so fucking dumb, he literally has instant transmission lol
Just because he has the ability to visit instantly it doesn't mean he will since it's Goku.
Something stupid happened in Dragon Ball? No way
Blame the anime/game adapting the anime. In the manga there's no scene of Pan crying to imply Goku leaving has any kind of weight or finality.
He straight up just picked up and left his gotdamn family for a random kid he just met 😑
Goku has ALWAYS been like this. If it means fighting someone strong and/or training, Goku will ditch his family and friends in a heartbeat.
idk if it’ll be possible but hope one day we get the other Dragon Ball anime’s/movies in the CC2 art style someday soon to continue the story regardless if it’s canon or not
Still bad he drops everything just to train Uub like Pan is also very enthusiastic to learn.
Did they ever show Grandpa Gohan in this game?
yes, at least in the bardock dlc
Pekora is going to be so confused when she sees Super, I hope she watches the latest Dragonball movie especially since they do Pan’s character justice
she's officially la pekora now
Pekora Azul
I kinda wished Super continued from this point of the story. Seeing an arc where he is the teacher for a change would be a fresh take on his character.
Goku has been a student to so many masters, I think it's time he should be treated like one himself.
I don't much get the impression he's become the sort of person who can be a master in the teacher sense. Most of his 'teachers' also fail in this regard, really. King Kai was the main exception. In his time with Gohan, the most credit you can give him is pointing out something that should be obvious (Grade 3 is super slow **please forget the huge oversights with "SS3" later**), a thing that doesn't make sense (eliminate the strain just made up for big gains **we'll ignore being dumb and wrong about getting stronger with more training**) and telling him to get big mad (SS).
Goku doesn't have martial arts moves to impart. He didn't teach Gohan a single technique in a full year (no KK, no IT, no SB, no nothing). As ever, people just see KMHM and learn it by sight (being elementary and low tier). Even into his 50's I just can't see him as a master. Maybe in another half century as a geezer? Maybe. In all his days, he just used things others made (even if getting creative with them). He has nothing of his own (that isn't a gag like 'mad dog', 'spinning', etc.). Really, he was already supposed to be a master (just not a teacher) when he had a mark for 'enlightenment' upon reaching Namek. That didn't pan out (and Super just went further with this).
NOTE: It would be quite the timeskip before I could buy him in that role. Uub came too soon. And he should have been looking to impart his knowledge to his blood (as with Pan).
Head Cha La is such a nostalgic tune. Even if I personally didn't grow up with Dragonball.
I much rather like this ending than anything that came afterwards (yes, I'm one of THOSE people) I never liked GT and I'm pretty disappointed in Super.
This ending was perfect because it implied a full circle. Uub is portrayed here with a personality that mirrors Goku when he was his age at the very begining of Dragon Ball (you know, when he met Bulma for the first time). Uub is seen here as pure hearted, naive about the world, caring for his loved ones, and a powerful fighter that is way stronger than he should be for his age. So it makes perfect sense for him to eventually become Goku's successor, and to be trained by him. GT basically forgot that Uub existed until a fight was going on (I mean, they could at least have him go with Goku in the interplanetary adventure looking for the Dragon Balls together, for example, that would have been nice), and Super is basically new power transformation after new transformation, rinse and repeat with some fighting going on in between. Its just more of the same.
This ending implied something much greater, making the whole story come full circle (like I said before). So yes, in my eyes Dragon Ball ends here, I couldn't care less about GT or Super. I know that Super was written by Toriyama himself, but it always felt like he was doing it more for profit than for actually wanting to continue the series, I personally believe Toriyama told everything he wanted to tell at the end of Dragon Ball Z. (Again, this is just what I think. If you think differently, good for you. I think what I think.)
This is still the end of dragon ball regardless since GT is not canon and super happens between Buu and end of Z
super is before this though
>for profit
Tax evasion required funds.
Looking forward to when we get to the GT DLC.
I wouldve really loved if they recruited Uub than frieza. Goku didnt win in his own terms against Buu, they even had to wish his strength back and EVEN THEN Buu was still holding on.
Would be nice, but TOP predates End of Z by a few years.
uub was a baby
>Uub
Buu is literally the best choice without argument. It is absolute nonsense to pretend the retcon made-up for him works. Toss him into RoSaT and he's good. There is NOTHING that should beat him in the ToP. Not a single threat is legitimate. None of them have FSF or the magic needed to content. As for the brat, aging him up in the chamber is an option while training him as that becomes a card to play. He's 5 or so. They have a week to work with. Age him up by 7 years in RoSaT. Getting out is a simple matter with a powerful enough person in there with him (though if he can't do it, he would be useless). If Gohan can start that young, so can the pretend successor. Frieza is just bad writing at work (leaving a wild car to torment the universe).
I wonder if she'll play the Goku vs Vegeta fight next?
I'm on it

1:09 Goku legit was going to get Uub reincarnated again
Ngl i kinda wish super bring back this kind of gokud at the end of super, in the manga goku start act like a proper adult during the granolah saga and super saga i wish they make the impactful end to the series
The end of Z is still the end and now that Goku is going to spend time with pan and the others, he will change. I like the direction super is going right now
end of super goku is still like 3 or 4 years away from this, super hero goku is one year before this and he doesn't seem any different to usual, because goku never acts any different in any part of the franchise, except og z turning him into superman
@@dankerbell that is true. But I think what he means is that the one we see at the end of Z is a little different from super Goku. He still loves fighting but he did spend time with pan. But I agree with everythinh you said.

I didn't mind Dragon Ball Z ending. Not that I thought it was good, but rather because GT ending exist, GT ending was a masterpiece.
But now Super is a thing which will going to act like whatever stuff that happened in GT never happened in the future probably, which make sense since GT was never canon. So meh, lol XD
I do think Dragon Ball is more popular than ever though, and it might have something to do with Super, or atleast part of the reason why. So I don't regret it existing (unlike Boruto), lol XD
>masterpiece
That seems a popular sentiment (despite him abandoning his family **again**).
>probably
Only "probably"?
>never canon
Funny, neither was Super. Nor shall Daima be. Or Xeno. Or Heroes. Or even DBO.
>than ever
It may have been during ToP's peak. Now? No.
>regret it existing
It served a purpose.
>Boruto
GT for Naruto (just with a tiny portion of actual canon to set it up).
@@BigVEE For the masterpiece, yea you're right. He did, again. I think what makes it better is the reasoning. Part of the reason why in Z was to have fun, part of the reason why in GT was to protect. He left in Cell saga cause he refused to be revived, but that was ok too cause it was to protect. I think what made it different was the reasoning. Yet Super Goku risked the entire universe just for fun. Lol XD
You can saw what's canon and what's canon, but Super is considered the most canonn sequel by many though. Hack, even more so cause the author was directly involved with Super creation cause he wrote most things for the Super movies, and Super only came out thanks to the Beerus and Frieza movie. Not Daima despite that cause it's not gonna get it's own continuation, more like just a anniversary thing I would say. Lol XD
In Boruto I heard even alot of fillers are canon, but geez, I think the characters are more ruined than what Super did with theirs. And it might be because they are trying too hard to make Boruto the new MC. Lol XD
@@RandomPerson-uw1oo >to protect
There isn't any such impression from the vagueness on offer as I recall it. He's just taking the DB (as if they can't be blown up **or just deactivated by their maker**). Him leaving doesn't fulfill this. He's just gone (not a deity watching over them in angelic fashion). It isn't until a movie for GT one has him pop up (after ignoring them for many decades **letting the families grow estranged**). Sort of.
>left in Cell Saga
On a lie. Proven so by his return in Buu Saga (and sticking around). His death was also an absurdity (no way Semi takes out FPSS **King Kai's planetoid is not in space, so he wouldn't even lack air**). Easily evaded and no way he should be killed outright. He let it happen to avoid promises (like getting a job).
When the coast was clear, he came back (to fight **as usual**). Stop falling for his deceit. Like 'I can totally take Buu, but wanted the kids to do it'. He didn't care (as proven by going along with the ridiculous plan of Vegeta). He was wrong, too (couldn't handle Buu on his own **admits he was trying to be cool**).
When EoZ comes, has he put ANY effort into removing himself? No. What of teaching the new generation? Not at all. Now Uub is around. And Vegeta calls him out. He isn't actually focused on making the boy a protector anyway (can't exceed Gohan **other hybrids have more potential than a human version of Kid, plus Buu is there as a trump card to exploit with absorption**). He just wants to box (just not against Vegeta who always beats him).
>risked the universe
Often, but ToP was risking most of the timeline (after getting another destroyed) bringing a second Zeno around and not learning any lessons from the Zammy situation. A multi-verse in peril of pruning down to a few universes. There would be no afterlife for them. Just erasure. Even Other World would be gone (souls and all).
>can say
I'm telling you how it is. Shall I explain further?
>considered cannon
>nn
Amusing, but no. Citing an appeal to a logical fallacy (popularity) doesn't make it so. It didn't work that way for GT, either.
>he wrote
Things that were rewritten by others (often without his say so). Do you really need help grasping how three different continuities cannot all be canon? Even if you pick one, you surely won't make the mistake of picking the anime (using filler from Z). GT tier nonsense (as with using movies **which also had designs from him as did even GT**).
AT wrote things for DBO (game). Didn't make that canon (and those things were clearly made with a game in mind). They don't even have that word as a concept in the East (nor is it important to them). Fans routinely use a Western religious term without understanding it (generally mistaken for "official" as in licensed, so anything goes with their headcanon version of it).
>heard
Heard wrong. The author only wrote and made a single manga chapter for it (involving Shin). THAT is canon. Nothing else is. Even the movie is shaky ground as it is unclear how closely he monitored the project (again, JP can't be trusted to call things canon **people saying they did are almost in invariably liars since that is truly not a word that gets used by them**). He took a backseat and let others do whatever with the property on two fronts. Even less involved than AT (with Toyo's manga). He was supposed to come back after his other pursuit fell through. I haven't heard that it actually came about.
>the new MC
He just is. The way Gohan replaced Goku. GT gave the torch back (rather than passing it to Uub at all). Super split it with Vegeta. None understand Goku being away most of the time is what helped Z out (letting others shine while the flat character isn't chewing up too much screentime). Both Super and GT try to be kiddie (channeling DB is also a mistake as that doesn't work for the international audience nor make sense for Z's tone **just that AT didn't like being forced into this by Kondo, but fans sure**). He admitted he could never tell tales like Koyama's (and proves it repeatedly).
Dragon ball end right here. Thats the truth
The last would be Resurrection F?
Goku: Bye, guys! I'm gonna be a father figure to this random kid I found, unlike I was for both my sons!
If it is any consolation, he'll abandon Uub after the boy gets attached, for sure.
But she needs to play a game that have super content and she will be like eh?
Not gonna lie, I never really loved the ending of Dragon Ball. It's funny cause I always felt like the previous arcs worked way better as endings for the series (I cried my eyes out when Goku wanted to stay dead at the end of the Cell arc only for him to come back lol). But Idk, it could be worse
Man, I miss Uub...
Now I wait for her to play the super content and be either extremely confused or completely hate it.
Pekora should GT in kakarot
Can someone give me a spoiler, who is uub and what is his role in the future? Is he buu reincarnation? Since I just reverse his name
Yes. Uub is the reincarnation of Buu. King Yema granted Goku’s wish for Buu to be reincarnated as a good person.
>his role
He doesn't have one in canon. Just there for Goku to beat up under the guise of training. Canon ended before we got any follow-up.
Is she gonna do the super content?.
She wants to watch the movies
Does this game have the story of Dragon Ball GT?
No
Only OG and Z
@@Wertlixx Now THAT is a sad ending... seeing goku leave with shenron, pan remembering the Z warriors and seeing their tombstones...

This doesn't use non-canon like Super for retroactive coverage, so no.
>not even Gohan
Well beyond what Goku can ever be naturally. Even Mystic wouldn't be enough for him to compete (if he got it). Really, he shouldn't change much at all from it (mostly a bit stronger version of his SS3 without the strain). He should try actually defeating Vegeta in a fight before looking to stronger people. Even Gotenks is too much (with just SS1). Pretending like Uub was his only source of WAKU WAKU is ridiculous (like him never learning multi-body so he can just keep fighting himself).
Does the game cover Super as well?
no, it's dbz: kakarot, it's surprising they have a dlc for the piccolo jr arc considering that's from og. bog and rof dlcs are based off the movies which are technically z movies
BoG pretends at being Z. It really isn't (misnomer aside, it is the basis for a new series). RoF absolutely isn't. It is fully mask off with the Trunks v. Dabura bit (that is Super's manga **very bizarre inclusion**).
It’s all Z. Including the movies.
@@EWOODJ >all Z

So, let me get this straight:
GT for all salty haters is not canon
Super is canon and happens before this tournament
So...
Do you think is better to just delete this ending with Super?
Cuz Goku is gonna have Ultra Instict by the time he meets with Uub again
In GT at least we started with them fighting and the training was interrupted by the wish of Pilaf and the others
And with Super Hero movie where Pan is already as grown as here in the tournament we can assume Uub is exactly as we see him here too but without the tournament and without Goku training him at all
WTF is Super doing? Honestly
But i think GT is a "crap filler" as all haters say
yes i hope they just delete it, but if not, then at least go past it
The Super manga confirmed that Uub has natural god ki and has the hidden potential surpass UI Goku.
But this honestly doesn't matter because Super is just as bad as GT.
>salty haters
Hmmm? Neither is canon.
>delete
Not an option. AT passed.
>just as bad
GT didn't retroactively ruin DB. Toyo's nonsense with Toronbo took away all credibility for the (former) MC. AT letting that happen was big time "raffs" energy.
does the game go to GT?
Nope. Not even most of DB. Or movies. Or even Super, really. I was amazed it even had a manga specific portion (that was very surprising since it is usually ignored entirely).

>Super
It isn't any more canon than GT. The term doesn't mean licensed (clearly). Official isn't good enough. Some degree of author involvement? Not enough, either. The qualifier is being an authentic, legitimate work. A bunch of people doing whatever with the offerings of the 'God' to his world? Doesn't qualify. Not the movies. Not the anime. Not the manga. What would? The bar napkin scribbles (sketches and vague, loose outlines). Were these things published, they would count.
Friendly reminder: this is the kind of dad people are defending as "not a bad father/husband". A person that up and leaves everything including his family behind to "occasionally visit" (which we know in Goku terms means "never"). On a whim. To train another guy for fun. Family values are real trash nowadays, apparently.

Besides, not like it matters. It's more important that he's a good person that saves the world.
@@Tiavals I honestly don't think most parents on the planet fail to meet the bar of "don't actively abuse your children". Not that there aren't plenty of parents that do, but I don't think it's most.
Adult Goku sucks ass. He doesn't care about anything or anyone other than fighting, Goten grew up without a father and even with Pan crying about him not leaving, he would rather go live with a bunch of strangers so he has someone to fight.
Goku can just insta transmission to his home anytime he wants lol
Wether he will do it or not is another story
Or others could just visit him? Pan is just fucking flight around the world not long before .
@@NinzaQZ maybe Goku should be the one making the effort since hes the adult with free time
Pan has school and stuff
Gt has done irreparable damage to the db community.
Toriyama actually wrote what happened after this in one of his mangas (Nekomajin Z) and
Goku kept visiting his family and uub lives in Goku's house.
It's only in Gt where he stopped visiting them for 5 years
If Goku didn't pursue the path of strength, the planet/galaxy would've been crushed a dozen times over. I think it's fair to say any petty sacrifice is worth it.
