    Well aren’t you the clever one!
    Very cool showing two iconic rigs side by side on a split screen.
    Both vehicles trail well with the winner being the lucky drivers.
    Excellent video!
    I regret that I have but one Like to give.

    The LC had two people in it through the hole test so a little difference on the clearance but in my book the LC had more ground clearance all around and more articulation .

    The side by side video was cool. Nice rides, are either the 40 or CJ running lockers?

    • @FnCJAdventurer
      @FnCJAdventurer  2 роки тому

      The 40 has a rear auburn locker. The cj2a has front and rear lockrite lockers. However, I think the CJ’s lockers were actually installed shortly after this video was filmed.

    What kind of rubber are you running on the FJ? I have a 74, stock suspension, with 33X12.5 mud terrains. They're dry rotted and look like they rub anyways. I was thinking about 30X9.5's or 31's. Not sure.

      I have BF Goodrich KO2’s. They are 33x10.5R15’s. They’ve been great, but sometimes I think the BFG KM3’s would have been a better choice. That said, the KO2’s wear well, are quite, and get me everywhere I want to go.

      …also, I have a 2” lift. I may be able to squeeze 35x10.5’s on it. So, 33x10.5’s may fit fine on stock height? I can’t be sure though.

      @@FnCJAdventurer I may go with a 2" lift anyhow. Can you fit snow chains? I will go with KO2's. I live in the Yukon so snow and icy conditions will be a fact of life.

      @@RB01138 I haven’t installed chains yet, but I have know doubt they would fit. I have a video about the lift I installed as well if you are interested. There is a link to where I made purchases in the description. I actually bought the BFG’s off of Amazon. It saved me close to $700 over the local tire shop here.

    What kind of shocks are those on the willys?

    • @FnCJAdventurer
      @FnCJAdventurer  2 роки тому

      At the time this video was filmed, the Willys had Rancho shocks. However, they were just swapped out to a brand-new set of Monroes straight from KaiserWillys.com.

      @@lonewolverinesurvivor6303 as horrible as it always has been. Softer leaf springs and better shackle angles are required to improve ride quality.

    so that was a review huh?

      I actually struggled on what to title this video. I was just sorting through a bunch of old video and realized I could put together a bunch of side by side vids. I thought it would be interesting and fun. But is it a review? I think it is in its most simplistic form. Is it a comparison? Meh - not so much. I’d be interested in your thoughts on the title/description.
