    Coming out to Aus for the lions tour in 2025 and after seeing this, just added 2 weeks to visit this place. Fab birds and brilliant video and narration.

    Wonderful Luke. Brings back great memories of the fantastic birds you found for us while travelling with you in 2023. Hope to do it again some time.

    Brilliant Kakadu video Luke it was just the job to brighten a minus 6 degree morning in Newcastle, UK. A great piece of work, outstanding video and stills, and of course the landscapes. Many memories of my trip 15 years ago.

    Lovely video, I thought the surfing crocodile was great! Hope to make it back to Australia again soon and visit the Kakadu national park. Thanks. Christine (UK)

      Hi Christine, yes these surfing 'kinga' crocs are fab. This time of year they're all lined up to feed on mullet - bringing spectators incredible action. Hope you visit Kakadu too - get in touch if you do.

    Great video Luke such a diverse range of birds and mammals, what about Love Birds or commonly called " Budgerigar"? What is the lens you are using?

    • @ntbirdspecialists-lukepate6070
      @ntbirdspecialists-lukepate6070  3 роки тому

      Hello and thank you, we don't actually get wild 'Love Birds' in Australia, however Budgerigars are more common a little further south beyond Kakadu National Park and great to see when they get in huge numbers. The lens I was using was a Canon f/2.8 400mm lens.

    Hey, are zebra finches, cockatiels and budgerigars common in Kakadu? If yes, what are the best places?

      G'Day @nilswijnands662, They're not common in Kakadu sorry and found further inland.
