I disagree with you regarding the quality. What is presented here is exceptional, and you are to be congratulated for capturing so many brilliant images. Would love to know what gear you were using. I am just getting myself set up at the moment.
Great collection of videos. Takes me back to my trip to eastern Australia back in 2014 and makes me want to return to visit more of the north and west.
Just got to say that I have a lot of respect for what you're doing! Australian wildlife is truly amazing. If I was to be asked what my favourite bird is, I'd say Whip bird. The sound that they make is amazing. Have an amazing day
Much appreciated and I know what you mean about the whipbird. I have spent many hours trying to film them and will produce something special about this Aussie icon.
Simply beautiful! This film just keeps giving. Stunning to see those birds in the wild. I am familiar with a lot of these birds here in Holland. Seeing them in cages etc. Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m watching this on my smart TV and see nothing wrong with its quality. In fact, its one of your best ones due to the great variety of the species. Whereabouts were these shot?
Much appreciated Mansour. I have so many clips in my library that may never see the light of day. Many thousands of sequences of over 500 Aussie species. This trip covered Western QLD and up into the Gulf country, over a period of 3 weeks. I am going to post a Far North QLD trip soon.
Thank you Tim Siggs. that was so lovely. I live in South East Queensland and I have not seen most of those birds. What a wonderful experience. I think you did a beautiful job of the video and sound it brought tears to my eyes. The landscapes were gorgeous too. I shall watch it more than once 🦜🦜☺☺
This is an absolute joy to watch, my dad and I are carefully watching trying to guess what bird it is! Great practise for when we go north in the future. Really spectacular stuff. I liked it when the birds names came up towards the end of their showcase as it gave me chance!
Thanks for your lovely feedback. I tried to give space for the watcher to have fun with their iD skills. I hope you get to do the trip. I'm going to post another one on Far North QLD soon ( in 2 parts)
I think it's summer for you guys on the other side of the world. I just happened to find your birding channel, very nice. I'm a birder here in Florida. Very interesting to see all different set of birds there. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to see more of Australian birds. 👍
Hello, I’d suggest having a look at the other videos on this channel. Tim has a great range of choice of Aussies birds. Yes to your question about summer here. I’m in south east Australia 🇦🇺 camping for ten days and as an example, today was 34°C. No great change for the next week.
Thanks Thomas. Yes, a wet summer for us at the moment. Still some nice birds around though. I have lots of species on my patch. I'd love to visit Florida one day. Cheers.
@@TimSiggs hope you can visit Florida one day. You would be exited to see all different kind of birds here. If you're interested check out my weekly videos of birding here in Florida and beyond. All the best to your birding adventures and Happy New Year!
@@TimSiggs No worries I have a "Kuhli Galah" perfect size Parrot and not too noisy unless you rev them up but they quiten down pretty quickly when you talk nice and softly to them.
Very good Tim, you are truly amazing I've never seen Flock bronzewings like that. I'll be going that way early June and up thru the channel country. What lens were you using?
Thanks so much David. I have just returned from the Channel country and there are lots around. The problem is that they are so disbursed after widespread rain. This is my old rig which was a dedicated Canon camcorder. I currently use Nikon z bodies with a 200-500 or 180-600.
WT Eagles get darker with age and become almost black at full maturity. Yes, more data etc is always nice. This is one of my original offerings from about 11 years ago. Thanks for watching.
Hi Linda, glad you liked our journey out West, now some time ago. I am making a new version to be released very soon. You are welcome to use the clips as a reference point. Please ensure you provide credit to my channel.

Yes, thank you, we did. It seems like a while ago but we re-visited these areas last year. Film to follow :)
Awesome footage and variety of birds!!!

Another great video whetting my appetite for some Australian birding!
Thanks so much. This was shot ten years ago but it is still cool to have the trip to look back on. The Outback rocks!

Very well done I don't see much footage of The "Kuhli Galah" about 2-3 inches smaller than an Eastern Galah.
Many thanks, I am working on a newer production that does include the Galahs of Western QLD.

Appears the Buff-sided Robin is a favourite of yours ? It featured a few times lol
Yes, indeed it is one of my all time favorite birds.
beautiful. any advice in sunshine coast area for birding? thanks heaps
The Wedge-Tailed Eagles look a lot darker in colour than I remember them. Some location data would have been interesting too.
