I actually went to place flowers outside Kensington Palace the day before her funeral. i went with my mum. If you think seeing all those floral tributes on TV was intense, You had to witness it in person. the energy was overwhelming and that for an em-path is mentally draining.
Ohhh, I remember when she passed away.... I was 14, and I was at my grandmas house helping her recover from a total hip replacement... Such a sad day...
Yes, I remember when she passed I was at my best friend's house. It was her 13th birthday and we were all having a slumber party when it came on the news. Incredibly sad day Diana was so loved she really was the people's princess. 🕊️
I was in Tanta, Egypt when I heard the news. My niece-in-law heard a radio playing in Arabic and gave me the news. I’ll never forget that time because my mother-in-law died the very same day.
It was a sad day when Diana passed away. The outpouring of Love in England showed how much they loved their Princess. She was one of a kind and very beautiful with a 💛 gold. That’s you for the video Laura I appreciate your history you give us about people the products they used and their diets. . I love watching all of them.
I was a fan of Diana. There's a documentary here on YT about how Charles, Camilla, and their friends treated her. They carried on their affair for years before and after the wedding, staying at friends' houses on weekends. They should never have been married. He's always loved Camilla. The day she died is a day I'll always remember, along with 911 and the day of the Challenger disaster.
I watched her wedding, followed her life & style as the Princess of Wales, felt a kinship to her as the mother of two young boys myself....I had been out for the evening just returning home when my mother called to tell me she had been hurt in a car accident....I rushed to turn on my TV just as they were announcing her death....I sat there in numb silence feeling as if I'd just lost a sister....I was glued to my TV for the next week & cried as I watched her young sons follow behind her coffin....My heart went out to them two young boys who she adored & who adored her their lives would never be the same....
Poor Diana, I think she was infatuated with Charles but I don't think he ever loved her. I did watch the wedding and was stunned to learn she had died.
I watched the wedding and have fond memories of it. Diana was 5 years younger than me. My family was visiting my sister when we saw it on the late night news. I'll never forget it. She was larger than life.
My mom also died in 1997, I was in late 20's. I really felt for her family, not just her sons, but my heart went out to Harry and Will. I always felt Diana was no saint either. I felt both parties made mistakes. Wow 1997 feels like yesterday sometimes. However, I think Harry needs to get his act together before he loses his dad and aunt. His family hurt him, but they are only human too.
I had bread pudding quite often when I was young. It was a way to use up left over bread by making a desert out of it. It was a frugal desert probably created during hard times.
I was 4 or 5 when she died, so I don't remember her death. But my mother was and is a huge Princess Diana fan, so she passed her fascination onto me, and I know a lot about her as a result.
We were the same age and I remember listening to her wedding on the radio since I was at work and couldn’t watch it. Charles was pressured to marry her and it was a disaster for everyone.
She was too good for this world :( I remember hearing about the accident and her death with my mom, I was 11. I remember seeing her all over the tabloids in the grocery stores in the year or so before she died.
There's a thing called bread pudding which is more like a fruit cake without the fruit. Bread and butter pudding looks more like slices of bread with sultanas etc and baked custard, and quite sweet.
I watched the Royal wedding on TV in Sydney, Australia. There was no one to touch her in terms of popularity. No one came near. As for bread and butter pudding, that is a staple of British and some Commonwealth countries. It is regularly eaten in my home and was as a child. It is made byt buttering slices of bread and laying them in a dish, scattering sultanas between and covering all with an egg, sugar and milk mixture, then baking until set.
I remember I was watching Saturday Night Live and they cut in and for a second I thought it was a news skit of SNL and thought, well this isn't funny. Yes I remember were I was for her death along with the OJ verdict and 911.
Early Laura Jane Sunday Matinée 🪻. Lovliest Lady to ever walk Royal Hallways ~ Diana will always be too lovely for her life & how it could have ~ The surgeon worked on her heart for quite some time but the impact of the accident had pushed her heart to the opposite side of her chest. We'd had friends over & when the news of Diana's death was in the news just shock & disbelief. Rumors were still spreading that she was receiving further surgery ~ shock ~ complete shock ~ So many theories for days months ~ but for her children to lose their beautiful sweet mother was most heartbreaking 🙏🌸💐✝️⛪ Very tastefully done ~ Thank You Laura Jane ~ 🌹

Awe sorry to hear about your mother in law
Of course we watched. I do respect that she didn't say "obey" when she wasn't going into always

That bell pepper entree, and bread and butter pudding sound good.
I know right?!
The clios of the accident are deeply depressing it takes me back to that awful night

I want to try the eggs susette ! ❤ Diana was the people’s princess and still is

How old are you Laura? Just curious.
Moshi
I don't know, in one video She talks about the year she was born and if I'm correct she said she was a teenager in the 70s🥰
I thought the wedding dress was a wrinkled mess. I watch the wedding live and I was appalled how wrinkled it was
Poor, tortured, weak mind.......
