Hola !
I am a model railroader. My neighbor makes items out of Legos, then gives them away to friends and other people that he meets to enjoy. He made this loco, and gave it to me for my train room to display. I noticed that the trailing trucks on the loco were past the end of the loco and did not look correct. I found your video and was able to correct it from watching your build. Thanks for your help.
13:06 Ahh spotted a mistake here, I know because I did the same, them green blocks are for alignment of the axles, otherwise later on the wheels don't line up and then you can't fit the wheel linkage. As you probably found out? But that far right one is a gear tooth out, so it's not straight, so the axle shaft is in the wrong position. Like I said, I did the same lol
Only 4014 has dual dynamos. That was part of its conversion to burn oil rather than coal and to haul UP heritage fleet passenger cars. All the other Big Boys had a single dynamo that ran fore and aft. The dynamos are the two cylindrical items just forward of the cab and mounted on the left top of the boiler. Also, the UP shield is mounted on the front platform, just below the headlight, not on the front of the boiler. Otherwise, nice looking kit.
Hello! Thank you for your comment. You can see that you know the Big Boy well. It is built as it came in the JIE STAR kit. Many times the kits are not without 100% faithful... Greetings
Did you choose not to install the gears for the wheels on the rear section? I noticed the gears were missing when you put the rear section on its side to install the connecting rods (19:41). I did install the gears on the rear section, but unlike the front section, the wheels won't turn, so I was thinking of leaving them out, as you can't see them anyway.
Hello! It's been a while since I built the kit. I guess since they weren't motorized I didn't install them because they contributed little. Thank you for watching the video and for asking. Greetings.
I just finished this build today, was quite fiddly! How many times did your fingers crack pushing the parts together lol, also I don't know about you but my thumb was sore after this lol
Hello! Yes, it can move, but be careful to install the gears and bars so that they do not block the rotation of the wheels. I suggest that when you assemble the base of the locomotive, with the wheels, you see if they turn well. The bars that connect the large wheels may have to be installed in the same way on both sides of the locomotive. If not, I think I remember that they lock and don't rotate (I have the kit now saved and I can't check it) Thank you for watching the video and for commenting. Greetings.

Hello ! I think so, although to be able to motorize it, motors are needed that are used to move gears, that is to say, I think that the motors of normal trains do not work. For now I don't have those motors, so I can't motorize it, although if I get them, I'll do it and upload a video so you can see how I've done it. Thanks for comment. Greetings.
Hola ! Lo compré en Aliexpress. Busca por "JIE STAR 59005" y lo encontrarás. Incluso hay algunas tiendas que lo venden con motores, que es más caro, pero si lo quieres ver moverse, puede que te interese. Saludos.
Hello! It is an easy kit to build and with good lace. You have the option to buy the kit that I show you in the video and a more complete one (which I didn't see ...) with an engine ... Thank you for commenting Greetings

The windows in the cab are also a bit big relative to the cab.
@@jamesgroccia644 Hello! Being a building block kit, there are things that are not like in the real locomotive. Thank you for commenting. Greetings.

Hello! This kit has a variant that includes a motor and gears to motorize it. I saw that version after purchasing this kit. Greetings.

@@MocPLANET do you think you could make a video fitting in those motors? Or could you specify please which motors would be used?
Looking great! Where can this train be purchased?
Hello ! I bought it on AliExpress, but it is no longer available in the store I bought it from. It's in other stores: see if you're interested...
Hi! Nice piece! How would you describe the quality of the bricks? Is it comparable to Lego?
Hello ! Yes, in my case there were no problems. They fit well and are compatible with Lego.
