Good morning, Mr. Leon. Is there any way you could post the paper of fertilizer recommendation in your 'more' section above? Love your videos! Blessing to you and yours.
Leon, I love your heart! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge. Hope Y’all had a great time fishing! You talking about fishing reminded me about a dear Uncle who also loved fishing. He saved those wax coated 1/2 gallon milk cartons. He would cut off the tops of the cartons and put in the cleaned fish head down tail up. Then he fill the carton to the top with water and froze them. I asked him why and he said the fish tasted better freezing them that way. I can’t verify that lol because as a child seeing the tail fins sticking out of the cartons made me not want to eat them.😆
I've been following you for years, Leon, and am so grateful for you. I've used self-wicking 5 gallon buckets for years. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with all of us.
I'm in michigan , we did two big troughs for our wicking tub. We have been getting a lot of cucumber, squash, and still getting pepper. By the end of the mouth, the growing season will be done. It is getting very cold here. Have great day
Your tubs have changed tremendously my rate of garden success. I accidently bought a bell pepper plant this year along with my other peppers. It has thrived in a tub, first time ever for my garden.
Thanks I have been using your excellent 5 gallon wicking tub design for so long that UV is starting to degrade. I use 3 vertical slit tubes and weed barrier cloth as my water reservoir.
Thank you! This was 1st full year of using your technique. The tomatoe plant I did this was so much easier to maintain and produced well, verses the other tomatoes not using this technique. Will use the technique the rest of my gardening life. ❤
❤️the heat, but my plants don’t. Last night at 3 am in Tucson it was 90 degrees. I was all smiles. Everyone else is complaining but I’m happy as a pig in a mud pile.
ThanIk you for sharing your knowledge. It's near the end of the growing season on the Canadian prairies. I will try this container gardening method next year!
Thanks Leon, We tried the tubs this year and the tomatoes and peppers love then. Our temperatures this year in NE Oregon were often near or over a 100 degrees and I have found that I need to add water every other day. I'll try a double layer next year. I used baling twine to tie the fabric to the end of the short pipes as the old baler misses a knot once in a while and provides the resource! Did you install your fill pipe into the top ring or go all the way down into the lower segment?
I ended up spending a fortune on fertilizers this year. What water soluble fertilizer can I use that is affordable since we are using it so often with this method? Thanks!
Thank you, Leon you are a mastermind. We need more people like you really enjoy your videos. Please keep them coming.

Thank you for sharing with all of us, Leon. I've been following you four years now and enjoyed gardening in wicking tubs over the years. 😊
Hi Leon, thought you might like this. I used zip ties to attach squares of fabric to the ends of the small tube. Love my tubs thanks for all you do!

Same here in West Tx, they are great!
I grew the best tomatoes and pepper that I've ever grown this year with these wicking tubs.

Hahaha... he never been in Brazil for sure. 113F is the normal for summer
"Rio 40C cidade maravilha da beleza e do caos"
How do you keep them from becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes?
How many inches from the bottom do you put the drain hole?
Does the pvc pipe go into the 4" drain pipe or just between the drain pipe and the container wall? Thank you! God bless.
Into the bottom pipe
It can go anywhere there isn't dirt but it's less trouble if you put it in the pipe or whatever you're using to hold water.
Thank you Leon!
Leon you have changed your tub system more times in the past 5 years it's a joke
At least he is giving good ideas.
Mr. Leon by using 8" of water using the same soil depth won't that cause the mix to stay wetter .
