When I was a child the university of texas at Austin had large flowerbeds full of pansies every winter. Their little faces are so cheerful even with ice and sleet around them.

Good, blessed morning! I planted fall crops in our tubs without knowing to reapply the fertilizer. What’s the best way to fertilize? All the plants are growing well but I know we need to feed.

Leon, I love your heart! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge. Hope Y’all had a great time fishing! You talking about fishing reminded me about a dear Uncle who also loved fishing. He saved those wax coated 1/2 gallon milk cartons. He would cut off the tops of the cartons and put in the cleaned fish head down tail up. Then he fill the carton to the top with water and froze them. I asked him why and he said the fish tasted better freezing them that way. I can’t verify that lol because as a child seeing the tail fins sticking out of the cartons made me not want to eat them.😆

Why mention the race of the stewardess who apologized for the flight delay? I wonder what race was the pilot/co-pilot who made the difficult decision to put human lives over time constraints?

Over the years I have tried many different daily devotionals & so many have disappointed. Many that disappoint were due to my obedience to always check up on what was taught as we are all commanded to be Bereans even with family & friends & teachers we respect. Just as we are not always right or not always checking with the HOLY SPIRIT if we are getting it right as we are told we are held responsible to do. They also make those same mistakes. Whime sometimes a wrong presentation turns into a study that corrects it. It is good when you find a devotional that stays true to the whole you GOD in context. I did finally find one I have stuck with from a pastor who's teaching & church I am unfamiliar with even now & that is Troy Brewer's daily email devotional thar state they come from his book I assume a devotional. Our true brethren will according to Revelation not be all from same church (denomination), nor believe exactly as we do. But will still be brethren & JESUS CHRIST will correct all our misconceptions in the end.

Thank you Mr & Mrs Leon and God bless you! Sorry, I'm going to be lengthy on this. Not a single gospel missed Jesus saying, "If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42, and Luke 17:2). The key takeaway, after working with CPS and as a paralegal for years, is absolutely do not stand idly by and watch a child be beaten. I'm not saying you should flog the abuser, but you wouldn't stand by and watch an elderly woman being beaten in a Walmart. The same holds true for a child. Even if you hear a abuse from a house down the block, you need to do something. I myself won't even stand by idly if I see a child's spirit being crushed by a foul mouthed parent through cursing words. Sadly, CPS in the US is not a good option at all, it's much, much worse & in other countries in can be really difficult to intervene, but that's where we should not be timid, "it is written, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). You have to stop the abuse in progress, don't watch it and then hope that Jesus will intervene later - because the Lord has equipped us to works of service and sometimes those works are going to require boldness and immediacy, Ephesians 4:11 "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service,". Jesus didn't tolerate abuse and we shouldn't either. God bless the body of Christ and all of these little ones out there!
