Had no idea they made a direct follow-up to the SNES game on the PS1 until just the other night. While the visuals lack a lot of the charm the SNES game had, it still looks like a lot of fun! Definitely going to be giving it a try.
It's such a shame how some companies were convinced that people would prefer terrible 3D graphics over gorgeous 2D graphics. The Kid Klown on SNES looks so much better than this one.
you know if they had kept the anime cutscenes and stuck with the 16-bit graphics along with the improved control (especially the ability to walk back in case you missed a coin/balloon),then they wouldve had a good sequel to this.i mean this is ok...but its like they just remixed the old levels and i like the 16-bit graphics better than the sloppy ones on this...and it doesnt look as difficult.

According to the game's credits, it was Oriental Light & Magic, or OLM. They are best known for animating the entire Pokémon anime series, these days.
