Franconian Way of St. James - stage 4 Stierberg - Gräfenberg

April 25, 2019: At breakfast in the Landgasthof Fischer, two climbers from Upper Bavaria tell me that there is also a dormitory for pilgrims.

In bright sunshine I walk through meadows and a beech forest and come to the Wildenfels castle ruins around 11 a.m.
At 12 o'clock I arrive in Hiltpoltstein, where I learn from an old lady on the outskirts that the Goldenes Ross inn is open.
After lunch I visit St. Matthew's Church and get a pilgrim's stamp.
On it goes west. I get lost twice because of wrong signposts and arrive in Gräfenberg at around 3:45 p.m.
In the Dreieinigkeitskirche I get another pilgrim's stamp before I move into my room in the Gasthof Lindenbräu.
After a shower and pilgrim wash, I meet my beloved parents-in-law for dinner
and report on my previous experiences on the Camino Francones.
Distance: 14.4 km (almost 20 km with two strays in front of Gräfenberg and an evening walk in Gräfenberg)
