The fuses/wires can be used to repair transmitters in various regions (there's not one in Coastal Highway but there is one in Desolation Point which covers CH as well). Once you've repaired the transmitter (each one usually covers 2 regions) then you can use the shortwave radio to find supply caches, downed aircraft, and bunkers for the Signal Void quest. But the radio is all the way in Forsaken Airfield, which is quite a difficult trek and more of a thing to do in the late game once you've gotten your essentials down. Desolation Point isn't too bad but I will warn you that there's likely to be a wolf inside a cave by a waterfall. After you finish exploring DP and CH you might want to head over to Mystery Lake and Mountain Town, since those are also two fairly relaxed regions. Or, if you want more of a challenge, you could go to Ash Canyon and get the technical backpack (+5 kg carry weight) and try to summit Timberwolf Mountain.
I havent seen it in the videos but when your in vehicles checking for loot dont forget to check the sun shades attached to the roof because those can sometimes have loot as well.
Beachcoming is very OP, lots of loot to find but be careful of the thin ice, it wont kill you but its a pain in the ass lol. Please keep this series going i would love to see more of it
So big tip leave all food except cooking supplies like broth flour and salt inside and the rest should be put outside to keep the condition on the food items higher for longer periods of time and its a good strat for long time range efficiency survival in the long dark
@@mem8or619 very true, got five bears and the moose more wolves than I bothered to count. But lime is not kitted for that ATM Its far from a being the worst place but it's not for starting.

Dang I am really looking forward to the forging episode. Last time I played Long Dark it didn't even have forging in it so I'd love a bit of a tutorial. I've been meaning to get back into this one.
Super worth it, it not very action based as PZ but it catches you by surprise, the art style, the sounds, gameplay loop is really good and well though out, it has the survival mode (what lime is playing) and a story mode (wintermute), also has a bunch of mini-games aka challenges that you can play more casually, its my favorite game lol
@@focacccia I’m downloading it now. It gives me Valheim vibes, if Valheim was in a modern, savage setting. Valheim is pretty chill, this seems based as hell.
I wouldn't say 5-10 minutes is significantly longer tbh. 20-25 mins tends to be the average length before views drop and you only retain people who prefer long content. 10-15 minutes is what most consider short, but this is not
Private, I love your videos. However, I continue to be confused by the way you capitalize the words in your titles. I feel like "rabbit fur" should also be capitalized, so when people scroll past they see "RABBIT FUR CLOTHING", which I imagine would get peoples attention better than just "CLOTHING". I also recognize that I'm not a UA-camr so I have literally zero experience on the subject other than being a consumer of content.

Ye. The nerve endings are so cooked and the brain is so glitched out that the sensation kinda inverts.

He did in an earlier video so I assume it's just being edited it out.

Id really not tarry at the gas station, youre in the parh of multiple bears and a moose can spawn there too.
It makes it a good hunting base too though. and being close to the ice makes culling wolves much easier.

Love this series! I used to play TLD back when it was in beta. Makes me want to fire it up again.

Wolfy didn't get any Lime..sadge.
Is this game worth it? I mean, I’ll watch anything Lime plays, but where does this game rate compared to Zomboid or Kenshi?
It's definitely worth it. The Long Dark and PZ are my two favorite survival games by far.

Or even worse "I'm the fifth comment! 😊"
