NO talking ASMR | How to paint a Gameboy DMG | Spray Paint

I recently modded this original Game Boy DMG and saw later that the shell was actually a little bit damaged/not i the best shape. So I decided to give it a new color.
First I sanded it down with some Scotch Brite. After that I put a layer of Plastic Primer on, waited 5 minutes (that is enough with sanding and primer). After that I put 2 layers of red spray paint above it. In between I sanded it again (waited 1 day before putting the second layer on). At last I put a protective layer of clear coat above the color.
Let me know if you have a better/other way of painting a plastic shell!

How did you get the paint to come out so light? when I try to do that it comes out so heavy.

make sure to sand it down really good - first layer plastic prep - first layer color - sand down again - second layer color
also make sure you are not to close when spraying, like good 30-40cm away!
