Beef Stroganoff Crockpot
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil more if needed
1 1/2 pounds stewing beef trimmed
salt & pepper
½ cup red wine
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 onion diced
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¾ pound mushrooms sliced
2 cups beef broth divided
4 ounces sour cream
3 tablespoons cornstarch
12 ounces egg noodles cooked
1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 package onion soup mix
2 tsp paprika
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Season beef with salt and pepper and brown in olive oil in small batches. Deglaze pan with red wine and add to slow cooker.
Place beef, garlic powder, onions, mustard, paprika, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, Worcestershire, mushrooms and 1 ½ cups broth in a 6qt slow cooker.
Cook on high 4-5 hours or on low 7-8 hours or until beef is tender.
Combine remaining broth with cornstarch and stir into slow cooker. Cover and cook and additional 15 minutes or until thickened.
Stir in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles. - Розваги
The crockpot was brought into my house 5 days ago. On Saturday, it slowly cooked the stew full of steaks, potatoes and carrots. I ate 2 personal servings on Saturday night. I ate saltine crackers. I drank lemonade. I got filled up. The crockpots can cook mac-&-cheese, ribs, chicken noodle soup, chili and more. Last night, I ate baked chicken, canned corn, canned collard greens and rolls. I drank the mixture of orangeade and Hawaiian Punch. Red and orange can blend in the color wheel. Happy MLK Jr. Day!

@@user-mv8pc9xt5g I know what you mean, it was delicious. The cake was just a butter pecan box mix and topped with coconut pecan frosting. Both were Betty Crocker brand if I remember correctly.

That’s looks really good. When I was first married I the 70’s we had Hamburger Helper once a week. I recently decided to try it again after all these years and unfortunately it wasn’t as good as I remembered.

Marie would cook the hamburger helper and I would eat most of it. It played a big part in me gaining weight also.

Thar meal looks very good! That was such a lovely salad Marie. I'm hoping you posted that cake too, I'm going to search for it. I'm certainly going to try the stroganoff, that mustard was a surprise ingredient, the red wine vinegar too, and I love the no fuss, no muss crockpot way of cooking it too. Lol, I remember my mom making the Hamburger Helper Stroganoff, that was a favorite meal for me way back when.
It's so good! Thanks very much Macy. The cake was just a box cake that we made quick to have a dessert. It was butter pecan cake mix and coconut pecan frosting.

Greetings, Cal & Marie! It looks both of you are up to doing another video. I have been thinking about you and the situation with your family. Might drop you a card. I wrote this recipe down because it sounds like a winner (despite not actually being the traditional beef stroganoff recipe which I have made before and love--very different in that you are preparing it in a Slow Cooker). That butter pecan cake sounds good too. I have been eating like a hog lately so won't be making anything for quite awhile, but I did write this one down for future use. It's not a stroganoff without the sour cream so you'd better put it in.!!! Love,❤

I love a good Beef Stroganoff! I make mine basically the same way! Its absolutely Delicious! You could use either one. This is just the one that we had.
