I replace the single mounting hole fender ball mount bracket from my hood damper kit with a dual hole one for more stability. You'll need the below additional stainless steel hardware:
(2) M6x12mm (or 1/4-28x1/2") bolt
(2) M6 (or 1/4") nut
(2) M6 (or 1/4") washer for on top
(2) M6x25mm (or 1/4x1") fender washer for underneath

.. why did you install the hood struts upside down ? I have seen other ones installed right side up....
This is how the instructions were written.
I noticed you have the k&n short ram intake, but what is that shield/hose running down towards the left fog lamp?

Two questions my friend...... Question 1/. I noticed you left the silver spacer on the bottom of the struts after the new bracket upgrade, should I have left mine on too? Question 2/. Do you know the exact hardware specs for the stainless bolts, nuts and washers for these new upgraded brackets ?? I want to get them ASAP. Thanks Bro !!
You don't need the spacers when you use this bracket, but it doesn't hurt to leave them on as they will just make the hood sit up a little higher. As for the bolts, I'm going to run out to the store today and finally replace mine with stainless steel ones. I forgot about wanting to do that until I read your question. I'll post up the size nuts and bolts I get in the video description later.

Added the info to the video description. M6 is easier to find, but M7 will also work.
@@VampyreX13 I actually found a bunch of M7 bolts of different lengths, along with nuts and 1 inch washers in my mess of hardware. Totally forgot I even had them. lol !! I'll send you a photo when I finally install them (I have to paint the brackets first so they don't rust). Thanks Bro!! Awesome as ever !!

@@VampyreX13 The fact I'm in Canada is probably the problem. I checked Amazon Canada but no luck. Oh, well. Like they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm not having any problems with my original brackets moving, so I'll just leave them be. Thanks for the help though. Greatly appreciated !!
