- Something completely different from my normal channel content; how to make your voice sound like Alastor's from Hazbin Hotel using Audacity. This is a remake of my orirginal video with my screen resolution set lower so it's easier to see the settings. Unlike the other guides, I show you how I created a macro for all the commands.
I overlaid the "Stayed Gone" melody with my voice, so here are the credits for it:
Song: Stayed Gone
Label: A24 Music
Songwriters: Sam Haft & Andrew Underberg
Producers: Sam Haft & Andrew Underberg

Tip: Talk in Alastor's accent for it to sound better.
Tip 2: For practicing the accent, listen to AI covers with a character voicing over Alastor.
Trying to pick up the accent is a little difficult for me. I'm definitely working on it, though. Thanks for the tips.
What I've found really helps with the laugh, and granted I'm just singing in my car while driving, but I find that starting the laugh, like, at the back of your nose really helps nail it.
I'm singing this is my car so much already. I feel sorry for my girlfriend, who has heard me singing this track and listening to it in general so often.
that sounded so great man
Thank you! I think I drove my girlfriend a little nuts with how many times she heard me singing Stayed Gone while tweaking my settings.
@@VampyreX13 lol
Just walked past your car outside my apartment building, howdy neighbor or friend of a neighbor.
Howdy! Just visiting, but you'll probably see me around.
I drove past your car today and saw the UA-cam username so I'm stopping by to say hi :)
Cool! Where did you spot me at?
You may want to work on the transatlantic accent, also maybe have a couple of laugh tracks etc
Why is everything so small though?
This was recorded at 1080p. I actually redid this video since the original one was too high of a resolution to be able to read the settings easily. If you're having a hard time seeing all the settings, you can simply download the macro from the video description and import it into Audacity.
@@VampyreX13 Oh, so THAT'S why I couldn't find the original video! Thanks for filling me in!
I think i did something wrong cus my voice sounds like i'm in a jar
edit: i removed high-pass filter
My filter is a good start, but sometimes you need to make some adjustments to get it to sound just right for your own voice. Glad you got it figured out.
How do I add the macro to Audacity?
Go to the macro manager, and there is an import button there.
