- I often get questions about how to set up Stereo Tool. This video shows you how to get a compliant FM signal with stereo and RDS on-air in less than 5 minutes.

Does it affect at some point that the cable is stereo and only one rca connector is used in the transmitter? Does StereoTool send the same signal on the left and right?

What if my laptop only has one jack output but I want to transmit music AND voice? I have a pair of headphones that also have a microphone, but using your method prevents me to send the signal to my transmitter. Is there another way to do this?

Hi already installed the Stereo Tool Demo, everything working, and now as I turn on my PC to the FM transmitter (TX)? For the PC, the output is stereo jack 3.5 and FM transmitter input is in MPX format. Ask for help?
What is the best sound card for the PC, to ensure good transmission from the PC to the FM transmitter (TX), encode signal Stereo and RDS.

looks hard to use I just use a simple 30 watts transmitter but the mp3s are all over the place some high others low and want them the same vol so it not distort on winamp player.
Will ASIO work with VB Audio Cable? I use VB Audio cable so I can 2 seperate sound outputs, one for unprocessed audio for the internet radio station and the other for stereo tool FM TX.

Because I am using the standalone version. I need a way to pipe the audio from my music player (Zara Radio) into Stereo Tool AND Edcast, without having to use 2 sound cards (one for input of unprocessed audio and one for output of processed audio). I basically need an independent audio loop-back.

Well you will need *something* . Many transmitters will show you the levels (but the display often isn't precise enough). Having said that, I would say that if you have an FM station you really need to have (access to) an analyzer. You can get a Pira for around 200 euro, or you could use the software-based MpxTool (which you will need to calibrate - you could use it with an SDR stick).
The easiest thing to do is to buy a Pira (or borrow something from another station, when setting things up). See pira.cz/fm_broadcast_analyzer/ .
So Questions come to mind. Is Stereo tool only for pc or can it be downloaded on an iMac Duo? is it a stand alone app or can it be used as a plugin in Logic Pro X?
Windows, Mac, Linux, ARM Linux (Raspberry Pi 2/3). Stand alone, command line, VST plugin, Winamp plugin, Carbon Coder plugin, GML plugin.
this is all new to me so I'm a bit overwhelmed with the process. I've an iMac Duo II, using Logic Pro X and unsure which version of Perfect Declipper to down load.. do I use only Stereo_Tool if I want to use Perfect Declipper as a plug in to Logic Pro X or ?Please help!

What do you mean "within legal limits"? You can broadcast whatever signal you want on your FM. A tape player, a record player, a iPod. Doesn't matter.
The most important thing is that your signal needs to be in the 75 KHz bandwidth that every FM station needs to be in so it doesn't disturb other FM radio stations.

Once a day before you shut it off, turn the volume very low and turn the dial up and down to lower your waves in the wires from it, the stereo, to the wall and out or nothing good.
