Ostapenko knows how to match Swiatek hard balls with force. If you’re gonna beat Swiatek, you can’t hit softballs like Coco. I love Coco, but she hits nothing but softballs, and nobody can beat Iga like that. Ostapenko, Swiatek, & Sabalenka all play hard ball, while the majority of the others play softball!❤

I think it’s safe to say Jelena should’ve been the world’s most decorated female tennis player. She really is the most aggressive. But I don’t know how on earth she doesn’t have at least 6 grandslams yet
I would say her game is high risk, high return. If she's on, she can hit winners from anywhere and there's nothing you could do about it. But when she starts to lose her focus and errors creep up, it can get into her head and it all goes downhill for her from there. So for me, it's all up to whether she can control her mental focus that decides if she can win more titles/slams
She NEEDS to have a serve like Serena’s and then she will be #1 for years to come.

Drugi serwis Igi jest tak czytelny dla zawodniczki , że była by głupia by z tego nie skorzystała.Jeżeli nawet nie jest to wygrany return to jest to zepchnięcie Igi do parteru a kończy sie jak widać.Szkoda że podstawa tenisa została tak zaniedbana.Jeżeli Iga sie z tym nie upora to może zapomnieć o wygraniu większego turnieju.
Jeszcze wygra niejeden. Ona jest ciągle w fazie rozwoju i ulepszania swojej gry. A już ma w dorobku 3 turnieje.
I’m more confident than ever in Iga after this match. We can all agree she was not playing anywhere near her best but still gave a game Ostapenko everything she could handle. The serve needs work , but you can’t teach fight and she’s got it.

Haven't seen a top ten player with a worse second serve since Errani. At least Sara had the excuse of only being 5'5". Iga is going nowhere on any surface outside of clay if she can't improve that second delivery.

You totally exaggerated, Iga had 53% of winning points after 2nd serve in this match, which IMO is a really good result. The problem is a 1st serve, Iga had just 44% of winning points and her serves were VERY poorly placed which caused to comfortable returning of them from Jelena and lacking of easy points

Notice each time Iga serves, Jelena is able to return it with precision especially in the 2nd and 3rd sets. Iga must improve the strength of her serve to dull the return of the receiver. More aces have more chances to win games. Nice try Iga. Hope you read my comment.

I have not seen improvements from Iga after she won the FO. She either bullies her opponents 60 61 or she loses. for someone who travels with a psychologist she cannot maintain her mentality when she loses momentum or is against a tough opponent

They are right. It is hard to believe she travels around with a psychologist.
her game is very grindy. honestly, I feel she outputs a very consistent level of tennis. the fluctuations in results depends on how good of a day her opponent is having. If she's playing on clay where her serve is protected and her movement and sliding abilities are accentuated, then I'm more ready to blame her for her losses, but on hard court, I feel that its more her opponent having a good day than her having a bad one.
Well her forehand is a meal for big hitters .

Blasted off the court in set 3. Wow.
Those with a weak 1st/2nd serve, and still serving it to Ostapenko's backhand side is really asking for it. That backhand is a weapon for sure. At the same time, Ostapenko has plenty of room to improve on her serves.

W jednym z wywiadów pierwszy trener (Sierzputowski) Igi stwierdził, że serwis u tej zawodniczki już się za bardzo nie poprawi. Obserwując czołówkę kobiecego tennisa, można zauważyć, że dziewczyny coraz mocniej i celniej returnują. Ciekawe czy to tylko takie gadanie mniej doświadczonego szkoleniowca, czy faktycznie nie ma tam już potencjału do rozwoju tego elementu gry?
Karolina Wozniacka juz prawie pod koniec swojej kariery poprawila podanie i nawet wygrala WTA Finals i Australian Open. Iga tez poprawi.
@@MrMorgorot Sierzputowski gadał bzdury. Sakkari znacząco poprawiła swój serwis w dość zaawansowanym wieku. Iga ma niecałe 21, może jeszcze wiele poprawić. Powinna zatrudnić speca od serwisu i to na długo.
Serwis nie może być poprawiony w ciągu miesiąca czy dwóch. Jaki postęp (i czy w ogóle) Iga zrobiła, będzie można ocenić w pełni po zakończeniu sezonu.

Dlatego sa tam specjalisci zajmujacy sie tylko tym elementem i takiego szkoleniowca musi zatrudnic Pani Iga albo jej ojciec... Nie moglem dzisiaj patrzec na niemoc Igi i stracone kolejne gemy serwisowe, ze srednio grajaca Ostapenko (bardzo nieprzyjemna dziewucha, nawiasem mowiac).🤐🤐🤐

Nie rozumiem tej historii ze słabym drugim serwisem Igi. Skoro drugi serwis jest taki słaby, to niech cały czas używa pierwszego. To nie żart z mojej strony - lepiej niech ryzykuje podwójnym błędem, niż ma puszczać babole, które i tak będą skuteczne kontrowane returnami przeciwniczki.
W przypadku takich zawodniczek, agresywnie wchodzących w 2. serwis Igi, jak Ostapenko czy np. Collins, to mogłoby być dobrym zabiegiem.
