And you just learnt who RM was xD So... he'll recommended some months ago another song by BT named "Just Fun" and I find it super cool. Just go to their channel and check out their work. The MV director is Lee Suho who directed last 2 songs by J-hope (mmm another BTS member? XD) More and Arson. And... mmm oh, this style is totally Korean thriller vibes, paying tribute to Park Chan Wook vengeance trilogy (you gotta watch those movies asap if you haven't, and I'm assuming you haven't, sorry) and also Parasite by Bong Joon Ho. The second verse was Mudd the student he's a rapper and singer in balming tiger. the chorus is by BJ Wnjn(WonJin) who is also a singer in the group. The group has like 9 other members and they do alternative hiphop music. I just found out about them through this collab and their stuff is so good. RM was the last verse and he's a great rapper. i think this style is RM finally coming home. he always liked this type of rap the most. there are even videos of him rapping underground and that was how he was scouted. his inspiration is Nas, idk much about him but i do know he inspired many rappers in the US too. for me this was way of from what i normally listen to but it was still good just not what i want to hear all the time. and i might be biased but i really loved RM verse the most. his voice is so mature and hard yet so soothing to listen to idk how to describe it.
Namjoon/ RM is definitively an underground artist even tho he is the leader of the greatest and most popular band in the world these days. Such a quality of him. A true artist at Heart
this song is so cool that I've listened to it a hundred times to try out the flow of each of the rappers. balming tiger were new to me, but I've been listening to RM for a long time (he was the last guy ), and I've always loved his tone of voice and really versatile flow. I really recommend listening to his tracks (Joke, Do You and his mixtapes), as well as BTS rap line (Tear and Сypher pt. 3 are my favorites). you will be pleasantly surprised and say goodbye to the stereotypes and biases about BTS!

RM is not the oldest in BTS, but he is their leader & all of the members love and respect him. BTS is comprised of 3 rappers & 4 vocalist with many other talents including incredible dance. They all write & produce, but RM currently holds the record for song credits (187+) among the members. He is a full member of the Korean copyright association along with the rest of the rappers. I recommend Suga (aka Agust D) & his MV 'Deachwita'. He is one of the fastest rappers in the industry. And J-Hope's 'More' & 'Arson' are not to be missed. I was never a fan of American rap, but I love Korea rap. I am a 69 year old silver ARMY. That's the BTS fanbase. 90+ million all over the globe.

RM was an underground rapper at first at the age of 15. This music is raw. Then he became the part of BTS. RM Is one of the writer and Composer of this song. I love all their flow. Balming tiger is alternative and so experimental with their sound. Now that you’ve seen something from both Suga & RM. May I recommend you check out a song off JHope’s Jack in the box album? Maybe Arson? And there’s a song that Suga & RM did together for Agust D’s D2 called Strange, it’s got some of my favourite lyrics.

You know I always listen to this song many times a day... and it's not because I'm told we have to stream it, but it's a necessity. I really love it, the beat, the melody, the rhythm... everything is perfect. This kind of music is not for ordinary people, it has something in the lyrics and the sound itself. I'm in love with them
I honestly consider this to be a perfect song. The beat is so sick, and everyone shines on it. With that bass going, and bj wnjn's vocal, I feel so deeply submerged in the track. The visual of him breaking the surface of the water is one of my favorites in the video and feels like a great representation of that feeling.

RM was an underground rapper at first at the age of 15. This music is raw. Then he became the part of BTS. RM Is one of the writer and Composer of this song. I love all their flow. Its raw and taking us to other place. You should check out more Balming tiger. I came to know about them because of RM (BTS). And also check out RM JOKE, DO YOU-his first MIXTAPE, RM PERSONA.

Well I made a comment, but it seems to have disappeared. It was longer. I'll keep this short. RM is the leader of BTS. He is not the oldest, but his other six members love & respect him. There are three official rappers in BTS. All are amazing talents. Please check out some of their work. Suga's 'Daechwita', J-Hope's 'More' & 'Arson'. J-Hope headlined Lalapalooza in July. He brought down the house. I have never cared for American rap, but I love Korean rap. 69 year old American silver ARMY (that is the name of their massive fan base). Hope you dive a little more.
I would venture to say this music predates the Ying Yang twins. It reminds me very much of early 90s Massive Attack.

I honestly consider this to be a perfect song. The beat is so sick, and everyone shines on it. With that bass going, and bj wnjn's vocal, I feel so deeply submerged in the track. The visual of him breaking the surface of the water is one of my favorites in the video and feels like a great representation of that feeling.
