Good video, but an unfortunate cut of the camera. Got to keep videoing nightmare scenarios like that. Looks like the guy tried to spin on the first one, bailed and got sucked into the white wash. Wave out the back was huge! Guy came up and that thing landed right in front of him. Brutal.
My favorite part about the LB crew is that they bring boards as big as the wave. 10 ft gun for a 11ft wave at best. I can hear them now after the session. "It was 35ft, we should have towed in."
This place is very much welcomed by the locals. They throw bbq"s with all the fixings beer and love to share with outsiders. If you surf here on Saturday youll be invited to one of their humongous parties where thr chick to dude ratio id 4 to 1 and don't worry about driving home drunk theyll invite you to stay then make you coffee and a hearty breakfast before sunday paddle out.
