Very helpful video a buddy recommended your foams but when I jumped on your site I was a but overwhelmed a d confused with all the options placing my order cant wait to try these thanks
Literally same, but im still on the deciding which ones to get part
Heard about these foams came here thanks to the interview done by Adam vanord with ikaika orderd a set and now we can do some foam testing thanks for the video
i have a 5.8 tall tire. and i wanna know if i shuld be running the 5.5 or the 6 inch dual stage foams?
6”
Well i know the weight of my chassis... been speaking to one of your "agents" he asked me about the tire size and chassis weight. After 2 or 3 mails i got no more answer like the agent does not know what to recomend to me... somehow not just we got confused with this system but actually also pple in your brand are not able to help us out. Kinda sad and very USA maket focused since in Europe we don t talk in Inches ... So to end i m still not sure if i go Crawler Innovations (for the first time) or xxx (stay with brands i know) since after 2 weeks waiting on answers are not helping me to choose the correct foams and i will not wait till the end of summer of course to get my rig rolling... I don t like to make negative assumptions on brands that i don t know but here i have nothing possitiv to add too. Hopefully this message will get me some info. ENJOY R/C
Great video learned a lot about weights and foam density do you all have a chart online that has recommendations on which foams to use according to weight of vehicle
CI does not have a chart, but that is a good idea. And thank you.
Yeah, I also think a chart will be help a lot.
@@CrawlerInnovations I got a hyrax 1.9, the weight of the car is about 9.5 pound, I should take 4.75, soft outer?
hope I ordered the right ones for my 1.9 Gen 4.7 falken tires
Thank you for your order Chris. The 4.75" Lil' Novas that were ordered would have been too big and firm for your application. Thankfully you put your tire & car information into the comment box during check out. I read your comments and mailed you the proper size 4.50" Lil Nova foams for your 1.9 Axial R35 Falkens.
+CrawlerInnovations Awesome you guys ROCK!
chrisopher erwin I know this is old but do you remember if you used firm, medium or soft outers?
@@CrawlerInnovations That's some great customer service, good work!
Awesome informative video!
Great video thanks guys. I’m struggling to find a UK distributor, any ideas who could supply these here? thanks again
I got some of these. Why did they come with three piece foams? Comp cut inner , then the outer foam but it has another thin foam on the outside. Why?
Stock umg10 scx10ii as far as weight goes. I like to keep the stock weight and redistribute it to my liking. 1.9 4.61 stock tires. 4.2 soft/medium f/r lil novas?
I just bought these
Lil' Nova Dual Stage 4.75” Heavy Weight Comp Cut Inner / Firm Outer . My truck is roughly 15 pounds and I do have the predator compound BFG crawlers. Will these work well with heavy truck
Really helpful video ! But I still have a question,I'm running the Vanquish 1.9 method 105 wheels which measures 1.0" wide , (1.2" to out side of beadlock rings), 0.2" wider than most other wheels,if I choose to go with Lil' Nova 1.9 dual stage inserts, will the inserts slide sideways?
Plus my vehicle weighs 5.5 pounds, got a 6:4 weight ratio front to rear,I'm running hyrax 1.9 tires. Now I'm planning to choose lil' nova 4.5 soft outer in the front and 4.5 medium outer in the rear, am I making the best choice for rock crawling? Or any better suggestions?
You say 5pounds go with 4.25....abd after you say if 6lbs or less go 4.5.... so for 4.6lbs 4.25 and for 5.4lbs 4.5...right ??
are these closed cell waterproof foams?
yes
Just the inner not the white outer
