This isn’t clear, how do you “go to sync 4” if you have sync 3 as you said in the video? Is this a drop in hardware upgrade replacing the APIM to a Sync 4 unit?? Are there any links or anything for that upgrade?

I have Ford Mondeo or Taurus 2023, it has SYNC 4 already in it, but ford released a new update for my SYNC 4 adding new features. All I need is to connect my car to the internet order to update, but the agency in my country disabled the wifi connection for the car, is there a way to update my SYNC system?

2022 was the year they switched to Sync 4 so if you have an 8" screen then you already have the Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto upgrade in this video. Can you send over the Vin?

I just bought a 2023 explorer ST and right now bitching to the dealership about how crappy the infotainment is! Music glitches and no wireless Apple car play on a 23!? What? I’d love for y’all to hook me up and get the dealership to pay for it
Unfortunately the 23 Explorer did not have a trim package that included Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Once this comes out for the 24 or 25 models we will have more opportunity to retrofit but the Explorer is not there just yet.

$1200-$1400, lol. I can get full wireless with a Carlinkit 3.0 for $50!
We offer quality OEM upgrades. We do not offer any aftermarket parts as the aftermarket units can be shaky in quality at best. We are not here to offer the cheapest equipment. We want to provide high quality OEM solutions that are easy to install and do not require the dealership. The Carlinkit part does not meet our quality requirement.
@@Infotainment_navI've tried about 5 android auto plug in flash drives and even the cheap ones($30) are super reliable. They take about 10-15 seconds to boot up. By the time I've got my seatbelt on it's good to go. They even have screen mirroring so you can watch a movie or surf the net.
I have a wireless adapter kit and i don't use it because it sucks. Lol. I forget which brand it is atm.
