Good Morning Chris... it's a reason why your channel is one of my favorite UA-cam cooking channels. woman you cooks from the heart... I haven't seen not one recipe that I wouldn't try on your Channel. you are now the soul food Queen in my book.
Ray Mack's Kitchen and Grill Now you making me blush. That's so kind to say. I aim to please. Just bringing what I was taught back in the day and what I do best, that's cook.
Mrs Chris tomorrow I am making fried chicken for my family I will be following your recipe. This Latina will be cooking soul food from now on , you are Amazing
I lived in Africa for many, many years. In fact, I was born there and even though I am white, I loved the soul food of the African people and turkey necks were one of my most favourite foods ever, growing up. The MOST unfortunate thing is, since I moved to the UK, it is so very, very difficult to find chicken or turkey necks, gizzards, hearts and livers. They just don't sell them here. BUT, I just happened to come across a delightful gentleman who runs a Muslim halal shop very close to me and he has been a lifeline in supplying me with those ingredients. He can't supply me with bulk but that's ok. He gives me what he can and I am so thankful to create even small dishes with what he can supply :)
Oh my goodness. reminds me of my mother's cooking. We are from Chicago but we live in Arizona. She grew up in a house with parents and grandparents who were all from the south. There is nothing better than eating home- down home food. All scratch, no box junk and definately no micro-wave.
Oh my goodness that meal takes me back to my mama’s kitchen. I miss her so much. I would love to be sitting at your table having this beautiful meal with you. Thank you so much.
Oh Lord, I have a taste for a good ole wholesome southern meal. Good thing I am going shopping tomorrow, I think I will get me some turkey necks. Great recipe and good eating, thank you SisterChris. Love ya and God Bless.
While I was searching for a recipe I thought to myself that if the lady didn’t look like my aunty or grandma I was going to follow the recipe and your recipe looks exactly how I remember my grandmother making it.
I don't eat meat anymore, and I haven't had limassol beans in sooooooo long, you got me over here feigning for some right now! lol You're an excellent cook and I couldn't stay with you, I'd never want to leave, plus I'd be 450lbls ! lol

That was one of the most beautiful pans of cornbread I have ever seen. And I kivecto see a common sense cook...using “shoe boxes” for thijgscother shoes. I didn’t see a shoe box. I just saw a plastic container. And for those who complain about it...just hush up and make do with what you have. Some of us have to. Neck meat is some of the best meat on any bird. There just isn’t much of it and you have to work to get it off the bones! Haha! Chrisvthat neal looks delicious and I am craving something likevthat right now. Thank you for posting this for us!
