Just tried this on a favorite leather jacket of mine, worked perfectly! Out of the dozens of videos on zipper repair, this is the ONLY one I've found that directly addresses the issue. Thumbs up. Thumbs way up! 👍🏾

The only video that seems to show how to fix this very easy problem. I was about to return a bag to a store about 2 hours away from my house that had this issue - 10 seconds of firm clamping solved it. I also have another older bag that went out of use due to this, but will now be fixing that one too! You rule!

I tired the zipper fix and it worked so far. The dry cleaner's wanted to charge me 45 to replace the zipper, I said no thanks.

It worked! I was fixing up an old backpack I've outgrown and plan to donate. The part that hooked the two halves together had slipped off one side, so I had to pry it open, slip the other half back in, and close it again. But then the zipper track kept separating, so I had to look it up, and was lead to this video. Thank you!

IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!!!!... I was not having a piler at my end so I used that tool which in found in the kitchen to carry hot utensils (sandasi)... and.. it.. worked!!!!
