10:41 That's the *boost control solenoid.* It's been over 20 years but I still remember! 😄👍 In unison with the MABC (Maserati Automatic Boost Control) the BCS controls the wastegate on each turbo.

BTW, if you look on evil-bay there about 2 or 3 factory aluminum shield assemblies that somehow install in front of the oil pan because it was common to damage the oil pan by running into low things in front of the car (parking curbs for instance). This is probably why your oil pan has all those fins broken off. Who did all the red paint under the hood on things like hose clamps, intake plenum and etc?
That a good instruction of things and I need to know for mine too. My starter motor need rebuilding, looking at the manual I found it is nicely put at the top of the engine, so I thought access would be nice and easy just take the air box off and there it is -but noooo. As you describe, the air box at the back has a load of fuel lines going through it! So easy access it turned into mayor hassell assess!. Otherwise I have to say it really is a reliable motor and powerful too, just change the oil regularly and let it cool down before turning it off and this engine will do 200,000+ miles without an issue. The electrics are the main problem, the fused relays are no longer made and pretty unique to high end Ferrari and Lamborghinis. So either a rewire of the plugs are paying rip off prices for other second hand ones is the only option :-( It is still a great car however and all this is 'character' and they are very fast cars to use too -if a bit deadly in the wet due to the power.
