Leather, wood, twin turbos, no power steering, carbureted and manual choke and steel wheels
Wouldn’t be many other cars like that

I feel like these would be really cool to mod for drifting. LS swap them. Lol

Twin turbo with a carb, in a package that looks like a 1982 Corolla.
Not even Toyota could've made that ambitious-but-traditional technical spec reliable though.

Molto interessante vedere una prova video di quando era nuova
Purtroppo è stata messa in commercio ancora un po' acerba senza molti km di test... avrebbe dovuto essere da subito dotata di iniezione e intercooler come le model year 87

Hands down, the WORST car Maserati ever built!!!! This was truly the nadir of their existence..........going from building all of these svelte & sexy sports cars, like the Merak that John mentioned at 0:25, to building a vehicle with a body which looked WAY too similar to my grandmother's 1980 Mercury Zephyr 2 door, & one that you could not keep out of the shop to save your life!!!!!

Agree. It that should have been offered as a 2 for 1. One to park with the other as a battering ram.

I have YET to hear a thorough dissertation on what made these cars "un-reliable". I agree that there were problems - what were they? I had a Ferrari mechanic buy one in the last five years - once he removed all of the emissions check-valves from the engine, he said they weren't bad....his ran very well.
