@@devonanderson14 My car is amazing! I have already put 1000K miles on it, and because it is so new, I still have manufacturers warranty on it too! I live in MA, and we do not do temp plates. I filled out the paperwork with them to transfer my plate and they took care of everything. Five days after delivery they delivered my registration on day 6 via Fed Ex. When they delivered the car they took my plate off my trade-in and then put it on the new car! I didn't have to do anything except contact and get an email of my insurance binder from my insurance agent.
I bought a 2015 Ford Focus from Carvana in 2018. The process went smoothly. The car was great (for a Focus lol). Paid it off early, no problems with my license plates, received the title quickly. Even though I've heard horror stories, I went back to them because I had a good experience last time. Currently waiting on delivery of my 2020 Lexus ES 350. And now I'm stuck watching more recent reviews since it's been 5 years since I last purchased from Carvana. I'm hoping this time is as good as last time.
Dealers! Even a good experience is a multiple hour slog including the required visit with the sales manager for the hard sell on unwanted warranty or extra coverage. That industry needs an overhaul.
We're expecting our 1st car tomorrow from Carvana and I've been curious about delivery. Real nervous but thankfully Nidia you eased my nerves with your video. ❤
2 years ago I bought a used truck from Carvana with 11,000 miles on it, everything went very smooth and the only issue I had was the truck did not have a bedliner like the description said it did. The delivery guy called Carvana while we were standing there and told them, they called me within the hour and told me who to call to get one installed and I had a new liner within a week.
I think each person's experience is different. Some may actually have bad experiences while others have great ones. The key is sharing all experiences to help each other make the best informed decision we can with the information we have at the time.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Your video gives me reassurance that I should go with Carvana for my car purchase this weekend 😊 Thank You again
Our Carvana experience ended up bad. Adult son bought car, opted to pick up, would be 4 hour drive, we like a trip - a week after it was bought. All good. Noon the day of the trip, Carvana calls and says - the brakes are bad, we’ll fix them! But you can’t pick up the car for a week. What??!! Who even does that? A dealer wouldn’t. We’d have the car the day of the sale and by the way it would be detailed. Son had already sold old car, proud to have got it timed right. Carvana refused to work with us. Like pay for a rental. Fix the darn breaks that day. And, what else is wrong with it? We cancelled the sale, went instead to the dealer 30 min away, bought a car. I hope Carvana gets its act together. I really like the concept. Thanks for hearing me, hope your car is doing well!
@@lwk4229 So sorry to hear you had a bad experience... Not every transaction is smooth, but hopefully Carvana improves their service so what happened to you doesn't happen to others. Thank you for watching!

. I wish you luck . I bought my wife a Buick Encore from a dealer in Iowa and saved $4000 off MSRP most i could get in Buffalo was about $1000 off . Took the Amtrak to Iowa and enjoyed the ride home . It cost me around $365 for the trip . My daughter had issues with a dealer holding her keys and license and she called 911 and told them she was being held hostage, she got them returned in about a minute after the salesman talked to the police. Enjoy the new ride
Thank you RIch! So far, so good! I already put 1000 miles on it, and no issues. What happened to your daughter happened to me the last time I bought a new car, they had my driver's license and keys, and I had to argue with them to leave. I absolutely hate dealing with car dealerships.

@@duanenidia-foodtravelandfun thank you 🙏 quick question so say I get the car and I get it inspected and it does need some work to it or something is that covered by carvana?
I'm in the process of buying a car. I made the mistake of guessing how much I owed on my trade in. It's one of the first questions they ask and I didn't know it would be automatically included into the price of the new car. Anyhow they asked again and I gave the correct amount. So I signed the contract. I waited for them to approve everything. They did but gave me another contract to sign. My down payment went up and my trade in wasn't included. So I did it separately as a outright sell. I'm not going to be upset or nervous but I can't have 2 cars. I'm sure it will work out
Based on my experience in auto sales, I will NEVER, EVER set foot in a car dealership. Their dishonesty with customers is matched only by their abusive treatment of salespersons.

For every negative comment about Carvana, there are likely thousands of negative experiences with regular dealers. That's based on experience working for several dealerships.

I can’t image buying a car sight unseen and never test driving it. I also can’t image buying a used car that wasn’t throughly checked out by a qualified mechanic before I buy it. Add the enormous negative press Carvana historically has had and I have to wonder why they are still in business. If a nonnegotiable used car dealer is appealing then Carmax is a much better option. They offer a 30 day return policy for a full refund. That alone makes them an attractive option for purchasing a preowned car.
The problem is most cars under 10k with decently lower miles is gonna be older then 10 years old and after a car is 10+ yrs old banks dont give loans for them. And if they do you need a fat down payment
