Old and failing health which is natural and normal. Add in any number of pre existing comorbidities and the odds of dying go way up.
This poor woman lost her dad and twins, she is a cancer survivor, she has had 96 surgeries, she is in constant pain, she deserves everything good in life.
I'd say grief does that (to a good person). She lost her dad and she's just looking for a way to deal with that pain - sometimes the only way to do that is to make it less painful for others. (coming from my own experience after losing my husband)
She's so thoughtful. She herself was a Secret Santa, and when we could finally speak after being gifted, she wanted to "pay it forward." What a whole, fun, incredible video. Thanks for restoring a little bit of faith in humanity.
Jennifer’s driveway isn’t shoveled, but she’s serving her neighbor, she adopted a family and played secret Santa, and even as she receives this gift she’s talking about paying it forward. She’s just lost her dad, you know she’s in physical pain and the future is uncertain. She’s so gracious, so thankful, and so giving. So deserving! You will be in our prayers Jennifer - and thank you for all you do for others!

You can do smaller things. Volunteer at a food pantry, pay for someone meal at a Waffle House, Donate suitcases to your local DCF agency, plant an extra plant or row in your garden to donate to a food pantry, take the time to listen to someone that's having a hard time. I'm sitting here lost in youtube videos with a TMJ flare and a huge blister on my tongue. I've buried 1 child, I can't imagine burying 4. What an incredible, deserving human being. She's going through such a difficult time in her life and she's continuously thinking of others first.

When people say there is someone out there who has it worse, this is what they mean. What a warrior. So much sadness and pain in her life and still finds the time and strength to help others. No one should have to go through what she has gone through in life, and I am glad though that she was blessed with such a generous gift. She is very much deserving of it. Gratitude speaks volumes of one’s character.
