Woman with "unfixable" jaw who's had 96 surgeries sobs, can't speak when given Secret Santa gift

- A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.
A few years ago, Jennifer fell while she was working at a hotel and broke her jaw. After enduring 96 surgeries, doctors have deemed her jaw "unfixable." She has to blend foods and drink smoothies as she cannot chew anything. She also obtained a traumatic brain injury from the accident which in turn has given her severe headaches and makes her forget things easily.
The worst part is she acquired a severe MRSA infection over a year ago in her sinuses from not being able to move her jaw. The infection has now spread throughout her whole body. Antibiotics are not working, and they cannot get the infection to go away. Often, she has surgeries to physically chip away the infection that has built up into her sinus cavity so that she can breathe. Every day she is very sick from the medicines she takes and is in a lot of pain.
She is not able to work due to her health, but volunteers weekly at Ethel Boyes Elementary helping young children read. Working with the kids gives her something to look forward to and gives her hope. She is truly the most giving and charitable person you'll meet. She puts everyone’s needs before her own.
On top of all of this, Jennifer's father passed away a few days ago from COVID-19.

Pneumonia isn't lethal for most people, but it is for the old and those with pre existing comorbidities. This is the case with the vast majority of so called "Covid deaths". Old and failing health which is natural and normal. Add in any number of pre existing comorbidities and the odds of dying go way up.

I'm pretty sure she was just trying to be polite to the news crew because she thought they expected her to say something right away. I don't think I've ever seen someone that happy before and it's coming from a woman who, besides getting this gift, has really drawn the short straw in life. This is really wholesome.
When people say there is someone out there who has it worse, this is what they mean. What a warrior. So much sadness and pain in her life and still finds the time and strength to help others. No one should have to go through what she has gone through in life, and I am glad though that she was blessed with such a generous gift. She is very much deserving of it. I've never been one to wish I was was rich(don't care about having a huge house, yacht, fancy clothes, etc), but I'd love to be rich just to be able to do things like this. I loved her reaction!

Volunteer at a food pantry, pay for someone meal at a Waffle House, Donate suitcases to your local DCF agency, plant an extra plant or row in your garden to donate to a food pantry, take the time to listen to someone that's having a hard time. I'm sitting here lost in youtube videos with a TMJ flare and a huge blister on my tongue. I've buried 1 child, I can't imagine burying 4. Everything I mentioned above are things I do in my daughter's HONOR/MEMORY. I don't do it for me other than doing for others takes my mind off all my medical conditions. ( P.S., you don't need money to be kind, just a smile can change a person's mood )

That poor woman is stressed in ways most can't even imagine. I've been there. Mind going 1,000mph 24/7, thinking of 10 different things at once. It can make you appear very hyper and out of it. The mental drain just demolishes you. You do anything you can to try and stop the thoughts, like shoveling your neighbor's driveway. She needed this more than you can imagine. I pray she has found some peace and that the Lord heals her. Secret Santa, Nate and all at EIN are angels making the world a better place and living the way the Lord wants us to live. Thank you!!

But trust me on this one the pain your giving your kids and all the other people that care about you is not worth it. So please before you take drastic choises first talk to your family and if that not helps talk to other people there are always phone numbers you can call. And they are ready to hear your story. I really one hear from you again in a few months. And here that your doing a bit better so seek help and in a few months tell me how it went. Because leaving this world is not the right option. Trust me ive struggeld with this as well but ive learned that talking with people is the best way to get rid of your problems. So I hope to hear from you in a few months and I really hope talking to people will help you

Yet us Americans are gaslit into thinking this is normal. No other first world nation has ppl going into crippling debt every day to pay for hospitals bills. We shouldn’t have to rely on a gift from strangers. We should have access to a functional healthcare system that exists for our wellbeing, not for profit.

They go to her house and knock on the door and she’s over there doing something nice for her neighbour by shovelling snow. My first thought was of course she’s doing something like that, it seems that the people that know suffering and hurt and sorrow are the ones who seem to give the most
