Join with The Crystal Collector and friends as they visit an old copper mine near Moab, Utah. This location produces gem quality azurite and malachite specimens. Even more so, the azurite and malachite both form up in these rounded balls often referred to as "blueberrys" as you can see why! This location is open to the public, just check out the video for information in the latter part of the video. The crystal collector highly recommends this location as its not salted and all legit!

Will be doing some public meetups very soon, will have more info on that on the Facebook page “The Crystal Collector”
I like those blue berries 💙
Oh my God I didn't know you skateboard I might be 43 years old but if you're looking to adopt anybody let me know
Where is this location
Healing prayers 💙😊✌🏻
Loved the video. 2 questions; 1- What fee do they charge to collect there? 2- I love Azurite/malachite cabs. Is that material suitable for cabbing?
Fun fact for everyone Azure malachite is what the Egyptians used to grind down and use for makeup
I did know that! Im doing an ancient Egypt course and they also used lapis!
Wow really ? Africa is great!
I only knew about the lapis
Amazing!!
Are they cut as gemstones?
Let's just take a minute to appreciate how wholesome and happy this man is!
Great content, became addicted to this videos hahah
“Malachalite” Sweet Peas! Hehe💕
The green ones I agree reminds me of gooseberries, I grew them in my garden where I lived before. One type needs cooking and the other is sweet and can be eaten just as they are. The large piece that is dark blue is gorgeous Bryan, what a wonderful shade of blue. You and Dillon found some fantastic pieces and I laughed when I saw the large piece next to Matrix, I wouldn't want to pick that up! Thank you for extending my knowledge of what can be found, the blueberries are beautiful and poor Dillon finding the real thing, though once washed they would be a tasty treat for him lol. Good luck to you both on your next adventure, God bless you love and hugs to you both and Matrix Mary-Ellen UK
Watching your adventures makes me want to get a van and go mining across the country. I'm a paint maker and being able source my own minerals for pigments is a passion.
It is so much fun to see where different minerals actually come from and what they first look like when they come out of the ground. I have seen many minerals at rock shops or shows and then to see the area where they come from is just totally cool. This reminds me of seeing lemons at the grocery store when I was growing up (lemon trees don't grow in Washington State) and then actually walking through a lemon grove in California and seeing the lemons hanging on the trees. Thanks, Bryan, for all the work you do to help us rock hounds learn and grow in our understanding of the most wonderful mineral world of minerals.
gooseberries surely
Malachite berries.......obviously.......amazing crystals.....What a place to go exploring. Thank you for sharing. x
Those little balls of azurite would look awesome in those little cage like necklaces that people sometimes use for a oil diffuser! They are just sooo pretty!!
What a beautiful COLORS 😍
THANK YOU FOR TAKING US ALONG 💜💙💜💚💜💚💜💚💙
You are awesome! I've been watching you for awhile now and I have to say you are part of the reason I now love 💕 Rockhounding. Thank you 💖
We took your advice! We just got back from Moab Utah and toured with Deep Desert Expeditions to Bill's Mine to get some Azurite and Malachite. We got some really amazing crystals at this place and had a lot of fun!
That’s so awesome! Glad y’all went out and had a great time!
Had no idea they grew iinto 'blueberry like' balls of azurite. Amazing! That large blueberry actually looks like a meatball it's so big. Malachite peas. What a beautiful place to dig.
I love that your necktie is color coordinated with the minerals you are finding
Love your videos can't wait to get my own crystals! Your videos made me fall in love with amethysts!
Green ones look like gooseberries.
So beautiful blue
Malachite Blueberries should be called Gooseberries (a green berry from UK)
Also thank you for the videos, very much appreciated, you are doing god's work :)
Cyprus is rich in copper...does that mean we have it here.... magical Crystals in your hands....you are blessed.
Those are amazing combinations of blue and green. Lovely blueberry Azurites. Awesome finds whaaattt
Name the green ones, Maliballs! 😊 I just started watching your video tours of rockhounding,I am hooked line and sinker! 🎣🎯💎I was raised on the shores of Washington state-agates galore. Sandollars,as well as the Japanese glass floats! My true love of rock's began on Mount Rainier during an outing with my family. I was wandering around and at the base of this towering bottle brush pine tree, I happened to sit down and found a Huge piece of Carnelian! I was 7 or 8. Thank you for doing the groundwork for us. Much appreciated 🎉😊
Love azurite and malachite 💙😊, amazing finds 😊💙, beautiful blues, awesome blueberry azurite 💙😊,
Blueberry azurite and cherry pecos diamonds. Love these fruity finds lately!
Blueberries and gooseberries!
That looks amazing. Gosh I just need to travel and dig.
Careful while digging on Utah just this week on topaz mountain a man was nearly crushed for not taking precautions
could you elaborate more on that story? Where was the man, what was he doing? I am so curious, thank you!
@@crimblegnome if you look up topaz mountain Utah im sure youd find a news story covering it. The guy was mining and caused a landslide of dangerous sized rocks that crushed some of his body
Blue and green... Reminds me of 'Crunchberries!'
Sooo cool!!! It’s soooo blue!
Fun fact
Most mine tailings in south eastern Utah around Moab are radioactive. Most mines down there are uranium mines.
Hope your left wrist is ok Bryan !
Great finds and a very interesting video. Very fun to watch. Something new I’ve never seen. Have a great spring collecting ! Best wishes for great crystals !!!!

If you are still in Utah, Check out the bubble bacon opal claim in milford UT. The spot is a geological marvel barely anyone knows about.
Thanks for the info! 🙏🏻✨💎✨👍
Wow, beautiful!😀❤👍
The green balls could be “Malachite marbles” 😃🤪
Awesome video. Loved it.
The green ones you might call gooseberries? I think gooseberries are green lol 🍈🍈🍈
OMG! I love that stuff! I only own a tiny little piece and it's my favorite!!.
Excellent!
Since azurite is an unstable copper carbonate, it is critical to keep samples in cool temps, preferably in a CO2-rich sealed vessel. High heat decomposes the mineral into copper oxide.
Man I would love to go out on a dig with the Crystal Collector.Keep em coming, awesome stuff.
I’m in love with these!
Love it... Love your vids...
Fantastic!
Looks like fun!
Love the video! I was wondering if you could give the name of this location/mine? I can't seem to find the info you were saying was towards the end of the video. Thanks again my friend!
Beautiful finds.
Wow beautiful
Very nice! Thank you!
4:57 at least once a week i get excited over a misshapen deer turd. You'd think I'd have learned by now
Thank you for sharing your location
You are my top channel you are amazing I got my dad into it and I learned so much from you
Malachite Gooseberries.
Wow Bryan, those pieces of azurite & malachite ( sorry malacalite 🤣) are so amazing. Some great looking samples. You are pretty lucky to have places like that to rockhound, from what I understand most of those kind of areas in Australia are now closed. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Peas and blueberries😉
Well I'll be!!! I found one of those blueberries a few years back. I found it near a native american campsite and have always assumed it was a native marble/game stone. As soon as I saw your cleaned blueberries, I grabbed my jewelers loop and ran to my display case! It's definitely a blueberry! Just as cool, if not cooler!! Thanks for the education!!
I wish I could check it out. Watching you will do. Good video 💙💚💛❤💖💜
Wow thats super beautiful Specimens, i love that mixed Piece 1:43
