it's a classic car from the series, it was part of the game since 1999 until GT6(2013), not only that but ofc it's a car from the very popular era of le mans prototypes. Personally I was never a crazy fan of this car but I aknowledge its history @@rickrolled7930

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's not every day that we get to see such a legend on the road, it was a very powerful car but unfortunately it wasn't a great success, on the other hand it won the hearts of the fans.
@@JFabers It's close, the roar is there but it's made too raspy with a bit of a flat-plane burble, if they smoothen the sound, this will be one of the meanest sounding machines in GT. Same with the R92CP with it's flatplane. That deep and smooth twin-turbo flatplane howl cannot be beat
@@chrischarizard4067seems that PD Synthesized the C9's crossplane to make it sound like a Flatplane. If they can get the Corvette GT.3 to be implemented in the game, I highly advise PD to get the Engine sounds of it so their soundbank can finally have a Flatplane V8.
Interesting to observe they've updated the taillights, LED bars complementing the old little round units. As for the car, perfection, even if it failed to take full victory back them. Epic!

@@idkwhatowritehere-p3m It's always noisier in real life, but in reality it makes very little noise. If it's running at the same time as the Judd V10-powered Courage C6, for example, you can't hear the Toyota!
@@worldracingofficial what is the point of the triangle though.. I just don't understand what the designer was conveying. Maybe it's a reference to something that I'm unaware of. It looks like a bird beak.

@@worldracingofficial the TS020 made the cars from Porsche and Mercedes look ancient in that time. Even this day it looks futuristic

It's true, it's a very beautiful racing car, but it wasn't as successful as we'd hoped
I remember watching the race on speed vision when it was battling the Mercedes. Brings nostalgia seeing it again, good times.

there were a crazy amount of race cars back then with the paint jobs based on smokes
