Hooray to Spellbinders for making those large embossing folders! I primarily make 5x7 cards, so the smaller ones give me fits. I have recently come to the conclusion that I will no longer buy background dies or embossing folders unless they are 5x7 or larger. It's easy to cut them down to make smaller cards, but it's not as easy to use the small ones on larger cards. I have many small ones & I have used them in creative ways on my 5x7 cards, but I have decided I'm finished with the small stuff. (I'm sure there will be an exception here and there, but I don't expect many exceptions). Hats off to Spellbinders!!!!
Any chance you'd be willing to share your tips and tricks for using A2 folders when you make 5x7 cards? (The only idea I've had is to mat and frame the embossed cardstock, and I haven't been happy with the results.) I'm going to start saving up for a few of the big Spellbinders folders, but I'd love to know what more I could be doing with my A2 folders.☺

I have been using these clubs for quite a while and love them. The cards are always well received and this month with the hearts is a definite yes!

Oh gosh, Jennifer! I've been a follower of yours forever. And you just keep coming up with such wonderful, creative ideas. I've watched several videos already using these club kits. But this one... THIS ONE!!! Just above and beyond! I began subscribing to Spellbinders club kits 3 months ago. I'm subscribed to the Glimmer & Cut Value club...which means I get the Large die of the month, the Small die of the month, and the Glimmer set of the month!!! This particular January club kit is on it's way. And I cannot wait to make ALL the stuff you've shown here! I just might have to "enlarge" my subscription to also include that stamp set of the month, too. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I know I have other dies and could use my die cut machine (Cricut) to create some of these images. But Spellbinders just makes it so very easy. And this month's kits are just amazing. You have me as a fan forever. And I'm old...in my mid 70's. So I'd best get busy makin' the cards. As soon as my kit comes. I'm stalkin' the mail lady!!!
Oh my Jennifer, these fun fold cards are quite beautiful, and seem easy enough to make. The dies you used sure make the finished cards look expertly hand made! I'm going to check out the die clubs. Hopefully I can find a few past die packs to view and see what could be expected when joining. Thank you for assembling all these cards and sharing the DIY pocket pattern.l can tell you invest a lot of time and love into your tutorials and it's so appreciated. I love videos that give me new ideas for using my existing dies or stamps - especially this time of year, when the aftermath of Christmas is an extended period in which buying anything "non-essential" is out of the question. ☺

I started small, with just one club. But went up to 3. Now I love the embossing folder so much, I added that one! I completely agree that Spellbinders is a wonderful company and they also produce videos and blogs on how to use their products. Please continue to use the Spellbinders products they ate great!

Spellbinders small die of the month was the first club/kit/subscription I ever joined and it was because the price point was so good. I wanted to build my stash of dies and I have never been disappointed. Your cards are so very creative & fun, I can't wait until my club deliveries arrive. Yes to the pocket cards! You have inspired me to make some Valentine cards this year. I don't normally make them, but I have an idea (which will include at least 2 hearts that pull out like you show above), but the "Pocket" I plan on making isn't going to look anything like your example. If I like them, I might post a pic on Share Handmade Kindness. It depends on how well they turn out.

Jennifer, I am so glad you used this kit in today's Video! Santa brought a Glimmer machine to me and I am totally addicted to it already. I've made the most gorgeous cards with their dies and have subscribed to the Glimmer kit. I cannot wait to receive the kit you've used here.
I do like the pocket cards too and would love to see more of those.
It goes without saying that I would love to see more examples of the Glimmer machine because most of your past videos are with deco foil. I just got a new laminator machine yesterday. Haven't had great success with that using my old laminator. Thanks again! Oh, and isn't Lake Rabun fabulous? I'm from North Georgia originally and love that entire area!
