@Prabath Hemachandra 😍! There's even more about nature, climate and the environment in our playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLMrFM-P68Wh7CywWU7fRF4kxy6ezbPDTB.html
Nature is a healing balm to the mind, body, and spirit. I'm grateful for our little garden which is my go-to place whenever I feel the need to immediately decompress. Anyway, thank you for yet another interesting and informative video. Keep up the good work. 💚
I always ask my wife "what plant is that?" and she can tell different names of single plant, including if it has certain medicinal or nutritional quality. Promise I will help her gardening from now on ....
"The knowledge of good literature, which was universal among educated people fifty or a hundred years ago, is now confined to a few professors. All the quieter pleasures have been abandoned. Some American students took me walking in the spring through a wood on the borders of their campus; it was filled with exquisite wild flowers, but not one of my guides knew the name of even one of them. What use would such knowledge be? It could not add to anybody's income." Bertrand Russell (1872 -1970); The Conquest of Happiness [page 35 of 142 pages]
I never knew this was actually a thing! Never would i imagine people would think of hedgehogs and foxes before plants due to overuse of media and from a lack of access to plants! (I saw angsana trees)I stay in Singapore and we have ready access to nature, literally look out of the window and there are trees all along the exprssways and many many parks unlike Britain when i visted last year, but i think even with all these benefits we still are just as blind because it is the same culture of too much media,a globalised problem😔

I like animals and plants but I don’t know there names
You are not alone! 😊
Right! ^^ I love animals and plants, too, but I don't know nearly all of their names XD
But you don't need a name to love something~
There are good apps for that! For plants I use PlantNet on Android.
@@claudiadelicato2976 Ooh, thanks for the suggestion!
I know names of animals not plants

Let that sink in. Wow. Just ... wow.
