One style type you forgot about are Boxer-Punchers, which are a balance of the Infighter and the Outboxer. Take Wolf, Cork, Ghost, and Shotgun. All of these styles have characteristics that make them good at both rush down (high power attacks/great mix ups/nice forward dash) and passive play (good passives/solid range and dashes/attack speed). These guys are usually pretty well rounded fighters who aren't great at anything, but good at most stuff. I guess Kimura and Basic count too, but idk?
I'm a counter-enjoyer. Just loving the way one can bait out a counter by predicting and the absolute lovely damage. It's also a crap ton of fun to land a 7 streak counter in a row to take down an opponent.
imma just copy paste my comment here: hmmm u should try ghost with mixed counter and infighter most ppl dont know what the fuck is happening cuz its 2-0 in a minute if u know how to play it right
Bullet is on another level, you dont even need to be the best at predicting. Just combo m1-m2 and stop for a sec till the enemy puts off guard. As the guard is down, the guy will most probably attack you, and you can counter with m1 or m2 as you wish. Wash, rinse and repeat.
I’m a mix at anything, really just depends on the style I’m using and the opponent. May change mid fight too. Always need to be changing in this game since once your predictable it’s over pretty much
hmmm u should try ghost with mixed counter and infighter most ppl dont know what the fuck is happening cuz its 2-0 in a minute if u know how to play it right
I was an infighter as I mained Ippo and used my dashes a lot, but after the dash patch I wasn't able to keep playing like that with the high af ping as I wasn't able to dodge correctly, so now I'm kinda going for a counter playstyle as I've always been sorta good at countering and I''m really starting to like Bullet Style
Bullets Good , but the one thing I dont like about it is its ult. It's like cheating combo and I hate things when they say I cheat like the ult is like cheating and I'm not good with bullet and also I'm a brawler so I'm better off with Slugger
I consider myself as an infighter and a brawler. I just attack attack and ATTACK. I'm not the kind that takes my time and waits for my opponent to come. I go to them!
I like to mix infighting + counterpunching. Makes pressure alot easier to dish out the less my opponent has offensive options. Admittedly a struggle when I run into that good passive player who doesn't get baited often, or I'm at a range disadvantage.
I'm in fighter mostly, but always mix it with some other stiles, because i try to find key to my every single opponent, and ippo for such things is perfect tbh! Absolutely like a plasticine!
You forgot about the boxer puncher type styles those who can fight at long range and short range typically having average damage and average block or dash but due to there balanced nature they can perform virtually anything to counter punching and out boxing to infighting and brawling examples of style like this are corkscew, ghost, and basic
that's called hybrid style or "all rounder", styles that can change between passive-agressive in less than half of a second wolf is the best example since Volg was actually both an in-fighter and an out-boxer and the style really represents it actually, Counter can be used the same as well, but the point is that it's weird for most ppl to not have more than one type of playing most ppl that like in-fighting tend to lear how to counter punch easier than out-boxers
Im an out-fighter/counter fighter mix, I used bullet but got tired of being predictable, so I tried using ghost and it just clicked. I love briefly stopping an assault on a opponents guard, and as soon as they let go and go for an attack, boom, ghost jab, and resume attacks.
My play style is kind of hard to explain but I’ll try my best. I’m kind of a mix of infighting, outfighting, and counterpunching. Not as an all-rounder where I switch using them, but combine them all into one play style. I tend to use an outfighting style such as hitman or long guard due to their fast m1 and reach making it easier to counter and for another very specific “ability” that I will explain later on. Once they’re within my range I then do light attacks like a typical outboxer would but then as soon as my stamina is low, I start waiting for counters. If they dash sideways, it’s free hits. If they attack, it’s free counters. If they dash back, I can quite literally pull them back into my range by cancelling their dash if I time it right. This is the special ability I was talking about and I found it easier if you’re using an outfighting style. This basically means I use an outfighting style, wait for counters like a counter style, and keep the pressure on them like an infighter. If anyone plays like this, please let me know as well.
ok i’m a slugger main but unlike other sluggers i use m1 most of the time to try and counter them so i can be less predictable with my m2 also i usually try to not lose all my stamina bc if i need to dash out i’m pretty dead
The easiest way to beat any strategy is to imitate the strategy, people don’t know what to do then. A good infighter vs a good outfighter would be a bit of a stall, since they are both used to fighting opposing strategies, but the second an infighter gets rushed, or an out fighter is forced into rushing is when it falls apart for them
You missed boxer-puncher. A mix of out boxer and in infighting and the awareness of counter punchers and power of a brawler. Corkscrew and slugger were supposed to be that but they got kinda nerfed. Jwordz is a boxer-puncher type.
my playstyle be the impatient amateur, literally spamming dash hoping for a dodge, and casually rushing the enemy with a 7 page muda until it misses/stamina broke.
as a in-fighter while also being a charge user, i absolutely traumatize my opponents block bar, health, and stamina bar. (I also love htting stamepede)
I was counter punchers category. When I first joined the game, I got Hawk style and yes i practice myself so hard to upgrade myself. I rely too much on dodging and countering but then I left playing game and dont know how to use it.
What would you call me?: Notcher Style: Bullet Info: More losses than wins, but learns from his losses Style Tactic: Keeps distance from opponent to punish if they dash in to early, or take too long to get close and rushes in. Weaknesses: Any kind of Delays in punches, ruins Rhythm. Huge lose against Lag and Slugger’s M2.
Counter punching is like my talent, even tho I'm good at dodging, I never really saw it as my main aspect counters are so easy to land on people and it's true, most counter punchers are genius when it comes to boxing
I used to be a infighter now I play passive aggressive as a wolf user passive aggressive is chasing you're opponent but still try to be out of range to land counters or do damage
I have a passive style because when I first played the game, I went aggressive with my friend, but I lost so many times, and when I tried waiting for him to get to me, I started winning, and that just caused me to naturally play more passive.
The style that you definetly forgot is the dodger, the one who relies completely on perfect dodges/just dashes like the trickster, freedom, and somewhat hawk
there should be the "speedstar" type of style the ones who can ACTUALLY utilize their dashes to their full potential (examples are some annoying trickster mains who actually knows how to dodge and handslow mains)
i love how they call out boxers "run away type" but not only what he mentioned, but when im done throwing my M1s on ur block im out of stamina, im not finna stand there and break my stamina..

People tend to switch their style depending on who they're fighting If you're fighting an outbboxer then never let them reset to neutral, if you're fighting an in-fighter delete them from outside of their range.
I like to mix out boxing with counter punching and brawling since i can make them think were gonna have a slug fest and creates more openings for counters and they sometimes get confused when i go from just walking them down to actually using my footwork
I play most styles as a sort of infighter-outboxer hybrid. I like to wait and bait mistakes out like an outboxer, but I love to follow them tightly when they try to back away after a finished m1 combo like an infighter. I'm more outboxer, but definitely got some infighting tendencies.
for a while i stuck with a counter-infighting combo with ippo, but ever since the dash upd i found a love for a mix between counter infighting/outboxing with hitman. works like a charm.
I'm definitely a counter puncher. The type that relies completely on reading tendencies and patterns such as: Do they throw a punch right after they dodge? Do they tend to aim for perfect dodges? If so, when do they stop aiming for said dodges and actually start attacking? But I usually take so long to analyse that I usually end up losing my first life...

i'm from brazil and i love this channel, sometimes it's hard to understand because my english is still basic but i love your videos and i'll keep supporting you (my style is out boxer) ❤
Before pd update, i was agressive with hawk, but after pd got reworked, i started to play with basic, and, much less agressive. Basic is rlly underrated, he's very versatile, so you can outbox and infight at the same fight.
Depends,if my opponent tends to use the hit-and-run tactic a lot,I chase them down and try to keep pressure,if the opponent pressures me,I go for counter play style.Depends on how my opponent plays, and sometimes I change my play style mid-fight if needed, since I’m good at both countering and in-fighting.
I'm usually a outbox and infight kind of player since i'm aggressive because i wanna break blocks easily damage em but i only using it after a person is attacking but before i use the infight thing i usually be passive or block and dodge or be infight since being aggressive out of nowhere can be predictable and so i can counter them. Also great video
I think some styles are not completely from one archetype or another, hands low being my favorite example, since it is pretty easy to counterpunch due to it's speed, but also out box using his high mobility to move around the ring
for me, I'd say I'm most like an Outboxer, but I try my best to switch it all up to keep my opponent guessing. I start out trying to see how they play like a counter, then usually I'll go outboxer to land some hits, and then switch between aggressive and passive as the match goes. becoming unpredictable leads to impressive wins if you can do it right.
when it comes to playstyles, I can be a wild card and its usually being a mix of in-fighting and out-boxing. Freedom style helps me much to set up my own pace and once everything is set up, the M2 are going in for the kill because thanks to freedom I found a way to lock people in a combo with said M2
if my opponent is an outboxer, i pick styles that have good dashes to catch them if they dash away. if my opponent is an in-fighter, i pick styles that have good range and dmg (hitman) at last if my opponent is a counter-puncher, i always rely on my m1, dash, and block to catch them off- guard
Been playing Hawk and Shotgun as sort of Box-Punchers, or Balanced. It’s fun completely shutting down someone with m1s and positioning one stock, and the next one rushing in to do as much as possible before going down. Works pretty well, honestly.
I'm an outboxer and my style is hitman people always call me spammer and runner. I always explain that is a strategy that outboxer commonly use but they just wouldn't understand.
Honestly brawler is raw damage but for example slugger is more of a mind game, as you can charge m2 you can just play with the thinking of the opponents and confuse them until they either rage quit or get em on a bad position
I main freedom, so I switch between all fighting types all together (excluding brawler). I liked the idea of trying to learn all three so I could learn how to counter all three. It’s pretty fun when I’m in the groove, but I’d still say aggressive infighting has got to be the scariest one for me to fight against, seeing as though freedom is a glass cannon
Fun video but remember to actually pick a style that truly suit you're way of playing. I'm not new at the game and I use slugger, tried many other style before and I haven't had this much precision and consistence with any other style besides Slugger. Best style of the game so far to me are : - Long guard - Hawk - Slugger - Wolf - Hitman to "Some degree" And last Turtle.
Man, i'm a Hybrid. Honestly, i can sometime change my style from Brawler, to Counter. Or Counter to In-Fighter. Or In-Fighter, to Outboxing. I main: Ippo, Slugger, Iron Fist, Long Guard, and Hawk. (i'm rusty at Hawk now.)

I usually play outboxers' play style mixed with counter puncher play style. It kind of helped me confused my opponent a lot. XD
I like to be a pure counter puncher, but if I get desperate I move to in-fighting, but doing that with hawk is kind of tricky.
Fun video but remember to actually pick a style that truly suit you're way of playing. I'm not new at the game and I use slugger, tried many other style before and I haven't had this much precision and consistence with any other style besides Slugger.
Best style of the game so far to me are :
- Long guard
- Hawk
- Slugger
- Wolf
- Hitman to "Some degree"
And last Turtle.
I usually run up, get in an m1 combo with all my stamina, then wait in their face until they fight back. Then i perfect dodge.
mixed infight-outboxing and counter is so fun lmao
As a Kimura,Ippo , trickster player etc etc at most times.. I find it better that I do both infight and out fight at tne same time.
I was an old brawler-outboxer , now I am counter puncher
