Exodus performs live @ the DNA in San Francisco (CA), home of the original American Thrash Metal scene during the 80's.
This performance was recorded during the release party for the 2004 album "Tempo Of The Damned".
i wanna create a fuckin hybrid clone of singers.. Balof's character, Zetro's voice and Rob's stage presence
Made me sad to see Paul at parties and see him so wacked out on heroin he could berely complete a sentence much less stay awake. When his death came it was no shock. Sad but nobody was surprised.
Que dominio muestra Holt en el escenario, protagonizando cada canción y cada riffeo. Cuando esta el se siente quien es el líder de la banda...
A lot of fifty-year olds are headbanging to their teenage heroes while looking at a phone😢
I think it Exodus should be one of the Big 4
They are in Big5 🤟🏼
I’ve been telling people this for years and they would’ve had a stock worker in the Wherehouse for Torrid not forgotten about me reels to the BBB album tracks back in 1983. This place went out of business soon after and someone had located those very same reels and brought them forth to the guys who ran Combat in New York and by the time the album came out it was already 1985; but upon hearing the song it’d been immensely popular and immediately released in that same year. We played a show down in YBOR City at the Ritz Theater with both the Dead Milkmen and Village People in 1994 for our Destined For Failure tour and who came up on stage afterwards telling Us that our debut Coroners Office never left his turntable back in the day, but Gary Holt whom we’d given a t- shirt to. Nicest guy who you’d ever wanna meet actually. The same thing happened to my late bff and vocalist John McCarthy ( Mortem) with John Connelly of Nuclear Assault at a club in town when we opened for Black Flag too! They’re all just regular people who play guitars or drums just like the rest of Us have been doing for 4 decades now! When you really think of it? Metallica only had about 5 good years from their debut album which half of it was written by Dave Mustaine alongside 3-4 off of their RTL album too which was pretty much an exact blueprint of the Master Of Puppets one as well right down to the length of their songs and themes both of which are precisely the same as the other. Fight Fire With Fire = Battery; Ride The Lightning = Master Of Puppets; Fade To Black = Welcome Home ( Sanatorium) and so on. Exodus’s first album was the most ferocious band besides Slayer, but had Dave Mustaine not been kicked out of Metallica he wouldn’t have been angry enough to create an amazing Metal/ Jazz Band ala Sabbath and come back with the Killing Is My Business ( and business is good) and then there’s Anthrax over in New York with a particular sound of their own combining punk rock and hardcore into a new kind of crossover thrash just like DRI had previously invented back with their album of the same name. Slayer’s an entity upon which they were influenced by the topics of war, Occultism, Satan and other delightful things of which they would drastically change after their release: 1983’s Show No Mercy, the single Ep:1984’s Haunting The Chapel 1985’s Hell Awaits, but it’s that infamous one that has propelled them into thrash metal megastars with their pinnacle album of 1986: Reign In Blood that put them into their own category. Had Exodus’s Bonded By Blood album tracks never been left in that warehouse? I honestly believe that they would have been in the Big 4; most definitely replacing a sell out band with just a few decent albums and once they ran out of gas and couldn’t come up with anything remotely compelling decided to make a buncha money; sit on their asses for half a decade releasing the appropriately titled Load 💩 and Load # 2 💩 💩 The Black Album was ripped off of a fictitious movie by Spinal Tap and the rest of their music were covers of much better quality acts like Budgie, Diamond Head and The Misfits etc etc Even Lemmy was saying that he had never set up any tours with them as mentioned by Lars Ulrich in his typical annoying way and was told point blank by the man who put the motor in Motörhead Lemmy Kilminster that aside of a few local shows that this never happened so there ya’ go. Still miss him; Lenny’s like a real cool uncle who back in 1988-89 my oldest band had been lucky enough to tour the country with both them and Slayer’s South Of Heaven album. Jeff and Lombardo were by far the nicest guys on the bus and Kerry King thought he’d been just that! King of everything he touched, but to be quite honest with you? He was probably one of the most stupid ignorant apes I’ve ever had the displeasure to tour with in my lifetime and beyond. Real dickhead he was! Thanks for listening. Sincerely, DJP Anal Cunt; Postmortem and Kilslug Sony; Earache 🇬🇧 Columbia and TAANG!! Records @ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED by copyright infringement laws worldwide via Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka quite obvious by this point in history and especially now! RIP Lemmy +Jeff H.
One song from "Impact from Imminent" album and no song from "Force Of Habit" album!!! I grew up with Exodus, they are one of my favorite bands. The HH team was even better for me than the Hannemn-King team. I like Gari's riffs and solos, but I like Rick's solo more, I don't know, he had better melodies, some crazy blues themes. I would love to see this lineup with Rob because Rob is the best singer that was in Exodus. And regardless of what anyone says, "Force Of Habit" is a crazy good album and the HH team played the best there..
Hell yeah!!! 17:23
I wish i could be there
you're damn right! a very great voice, but he doesn't animate the crowd and shit. just grins and stands there.
That's why dukes and baloff rule life they got the crowd going especially dukes he would jump in the crowd no fucks given he was a class act

whoa when did they hire ron jeremy on vocals?
Rick always was cool, i guess:P
You guess well that's great. The rest of us have always thought so lol
Souza blows
4:12 is that J.Hetfield ?
Hey fun this fordman get at i dont have u on ps3 or team wats up
is this a bootleg ?
but he has the best voice in thrash i ever heard
No hay como paul Beloff o Rob Dukes estos si cantaron chingo en este grupo
Well I kinda agree but in this concert I think he isn't good. I like the albums with him but personally he isn't my fav vocalist in Exodus or in Thrash in general. It seems like he puts no effort in this show which is disappointing.
steve souza rlz
He was pretty good but his energy on stage is quite poor and since Rob came In the mix they have gotten better.
zetro the best fucking voice in exodus history
baloff?
dead
Zethro's voice and stage presence in live performances is not Thrash at all. It's all garbage. Ha ha! Missing Rob.
Zetro 80s and 90s was awesome. Dukes was alright but made them sound like every other cookie cutter metal band trying to milk the vine in the 2000s
@@80nighttime Exodus made one of the few successful returns to the scene with Zetro on the album. Here Zetro sounds desperate. Especially the songs that Paul sang. Just listen to "Deliver Us To Evil", it's impossible to listen to, a disgusting attempt to imitate Paul. When Rob arrived, Exodus was an old-new band. Rob had the best presentation on stage, an extra good voice, a real MC who knows how to run a show. The concert at Wacken 2008 was one of the best metal concerts ever. Zetro was good on the albums he sang on in the 80s and 90s, as you said. When I remember what Gary said about Zetro in 2005 and later, it's incredible that he invited him to the band again, but that's how show business works. Gary goes on tour with Slayer, and only Tom remains in the band from the original line-up. Then Rom had to leave, Zetro came back to make the band look like Exodus... Exodus with Rob is a monster band..
Rob was much better. please bring him back!
Steve Souza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only Death Decides (Impact Is Imminent) @ is horrible Riff.. Power Of Thrash Riff
