Years ago when the Circus Circus was at the edge of town, the buffet was 99 cents. It was a plain buffet, but it wasn't as sad as it is today! I miss the 80s.
I respect you FAR more for being honest than if you sugar coated the review because you don't like being negative.

OMG! I laughed, I cried had to call my husband mid way thru the video to tell him about it. I stopped it at the mud comment. When I resumed the video I cried even more. When my husband walked thru the door made him sit down and watch it. We both laughed and cried! Only because we agree totally on your review! Love the videos!

It’s been ions since I went to the CC buffet. It hasn’t changed one bit. I’m old enough to remember $2/$4/$6 for B/L/D. It wasn’t worth it then. As for next, Palms is open with their AYCE Buffet and Wednesday is Lobster night and the most expensive version. Still cheaper than some of the big boys. But it’s LOBSTER! I think mid sixties. Regular is mid twenties, I think. Also for great eats at Palms, I was there before Covid and some of the restaurants survived. Mabel’s BBQ and the Chinese DimSum place I forget the names, three names. Both amazing. Thanks for the heads up. Great video.

To ANYONE especially those visiting Las Vegas for the first time; DON'T go to the cheap Buffets. Spend a few extra dollars and indulge yourself in one of the many excellent Buffet choices offered throughout Las Vegas.
palms just opened. before pandemic it was one of my favorite goto buffets. from what i have heard, its even better now.
i love a basic buffet but even this looked Meh to me. i'd drive to Golden Corral in Vegas

That buffet is one where there is no need for chefs.Just put the frozen aluminum pans in the oven or throw frozen chicken in the fryer.
I agree, the best restaurant at Circus Circus 🎪 is the Steakhouse. I go to Circus Circus 🎪 a lot because they usually have good deals for the rooms. But I avoid the Buffet, the only time the Family and I would go was for the brunch because I liked the Omlette station. That was probably the only good thing about it. They really need to do something about that Buffet.
So only eat the steakhouse at circus circus. Honestly I’d walk to taco El Gordo and peppermill. We appreciate your truth so we can avoid these spots.

Your review of this place cracked me up. I especially love the facial expressions and said that eating some of the food tasted like eating a tire or eating mud.
Lower tier buffets and buffets that are closed, how about they make them profitable by providing good lease terms to a buffet company such as Golden Corral to lease their operations. This way they break even or earn rental income for a segment that is normally a loss leader.

The food did not not look very appetizing on the buffet. We are going to Vegas this summer and we will definitely skip this buffet. The look on your face when you tasted the meatball was priceless. Thanks for sharing!
It's crazy that someone would decide that this food looks acceptable in one of the best hospitality cities in the U.S. but it IS Circus Circus. 🤷♀️
I ate there a few times back in 1991. Breakfast was $2.99. It was worth it. Dinner was $5.99. It wasn’t worth it. It’s been remodeled since then and the price increased a lot. It appears the quality has not.

Hi Matthew, The fried chicken "looked" good, but I know that looks can be very deceiving. I don't like to give negative food reviews either. On the other hand I call it the way that it is. I think they used to have pizza?🤔 Everything looked like frozen grocery store food. The gravy for the chicken fried steak looked like package gravy. The fried chicken looked like Banquet frozen dinner chicken you can get for $1.25 a meal. I had no plans to go there other than the Steakhouse, this did not change my mind!

The soup (at the front of the dessert section…right when you go in) was the BEST thing at the buffet when I went there. They had two soups, the chicken soup was really good.

Ok this has to be the funniest food video so far. The chef Boyardee spaghetti and cardboard pancakes had me dying laughing. Yes I would pick Luxor Buffett any day over Circus Circus. Even the slo-mo syrup time was off due to the syrup not being able to absorb properly into the pancake and waffle..🤣

I was wondering when someone was going to use Vegas Vacation's in videos. Hahaha!!! I always, say that, but not too loud at a buffet. Buffets all buffets are not my cup of tea. I just cringe, with just a glass shield for germ protection....?? NOPE! I did go to Circus's buffet way, way in 1984. Was only 7 years old. Now 50, watching people talking around it and spittle everywhere. I can see it because i'm still, 5'0 ft. HAHAHA.. We're always in Vegas. Love your contents. Thanks.
