It was genuinely great to talk to you! Thank for being able to provide the platform for the nuance of synthesis and ideas that can often get lost in the loud places as superbooth. It is actually our 10 year anniversary this year! It was Musik Messe in Frankfurt - we were showing the microGranny and synth youtube was just starting. Time flies when you do fun stuff!

The interview series with Bastl is fantastic and something I really appreciate and treasure as a fan of synth youtube. I feel like the thoughtful folks at Bastl have been holding my hand the entire time I've been into modular synthesis as a hobby. (coming up on 5 years) Softpop continues to teach me a lot, and the Pizza module(s) and hardware is the gift that keeps on giving. Very excited for Crust firmware. Thanks to Cuckoo, Vaclav and the whole Bastl team for making learning about synthesis so much fun~

Yeah. Beardless Cuckoo is a tenor. Bearded Cuckoo is a double bass.
I can't explain it, but these Cuckoo talking to Václav videos through the last couple years have gotten me through some tough times with raising my newborn twins. Just great honest nerding out, and in this video even getting a little real at the end. And yes, I am in this for the fun.
I have the Bastl Bestie and it’s a great mixer to overdrive mixes through for a more analog feel.

Always love these visits!!! I love the tradition! Pizza Crust seems so awesome. I love how control ideas of having two directions for the controls like on Pizza have translated here. Who's that clean shaven guy impersonating Cuckoo? Looking good. I've also had a few beard trimming mishaps. That said, I dig the new BASTL modules.
i struggle a lot to learn music (adhd) but i can get sounds from Bastl Kastle + Drum. Already tensing my buttocks bc this cool thing is going to be $$$😅
Bastl stuff is just magic. I've got all the Kastles, a Dude and a Microgranny, but I've always lusted after the bigger boxes and Thyme + looks like a dream...

Why he wears headphones ?
It's such a noisy environment, so we were both listening in headphones. That way we can keep the sound subtle, and also hear each other better while hearing the mic, so we don't have to scream. 😅
