- This video will show you how to expand the emuMMC as SD partition without losing any data.
Just a heads-up: If you're looking to upgrade your current SD card to a larger one, make sure to prepare the HATS pack for your new card using an SD card reader at the 7:30 mark, and then proceed with the guide.

Just wanted to say ur a goat still thankfully I had set mine to 24gb im on a 1tb sd card should be good enough hopefully
and again a cool useful video
Thank you
Ohhh so cool!
Nice !!! Tanks
hello, when can we expect new 3 unbrick nintendo switches, thanks in advance
Quick question if you don't mind. Using your hats pack I can't get homebrew to open out of applet mode. I've tried the typical procedures. My old V1 modded switch works just fine doing it but having issues with my modded OLED. I get an error saying can't open application or something similar when holding down R or L and launching a game.
there is no issue. you need to use a working game. MAYBE your R button on the oled is not working.
Will you make a video about the new lineageos android 14 once it's more stable?
I am in the editing process
Ask: can we make 58gb sized emunand on v1?
no. the limit is 29GB full, if you exceed that number, you will have two emummc partitions
My sysmmc and emummc isn't the same version, can i still do this process or no?
you can but better update both worlds
Love your video! I have a request for future guide video: Would you be able to guide us on how to set-up Android on EmuMMC (not SDcard)? The guide on Switchroot has no visuals and quite daunting to follow for those without Linux experience (and I wonder if there's alternative rather than using Linux to set-up this, like using WSL perhaps)
Terima kasih ❤
emummc is inside the sdcard. u mean on the emmc? why should we do that?
@@sthetixofficial ah yes, I meant emmc, the built-in storage part in the Switch.
one reason (personally for me) is that, setting up the Android on emmc would mitigate the need to re-partition the SDcard that someone may have (especially if they have a large-sized SDcard, where repartitioning and backing up files and moving back into the SDcard will take a lot of time). Some may say to just "use a different SDcard for Android" but with how fragile the Switch's SDcard slot, switching between 2 SDcards constantly might not be a good idea.
it says : eMMC preparation (for Android and Linux alongside HOS on a larger eMMC)
So you need to remove your current emmc chip, and replace it with a larger capacity emmc chip. I dont think it is worth.
The side-effect = how would you backup the emmc chip later if needed? i am pretty sure it will be a hassle.
@@sthetixofficial that would make sense, yeah
Hi, when restoring the USER partition it appeared as it was bigger than the available space, it worked normally until I tried to update a game, now it displays unknown pkg1 version hos version not supported error when trying to enter emummc, do I need to follow your level 1 unbrick guide or I need to do something else for this error? I have oled version
It has nothing to do with the unbrick guide.
How big is your original emummc size? let's suppose your previous one is 12GB and the total USER probably around 9GB, and when you created a new 29GB / 64GB emuMMC, then there is a large space to contain the previous USER. So you need to recheck the guide.
@@sthetixofficial thank you so much for the answer I fixed the issue with your re sizing guide
Can I do this to completely remove the Android partition on my device? I just want the Android partition removed and everything else kept. It is taking up 128GB from my 512GB storage.
u need to dump your emummc, backup the sdcard, then re partition the card.. yes it can remove the android partiton
hi i have on my cfw emummc the 18.0 update while on the ofw an old update, how do i fix this? if i try to update the ofw through wifi it doesn't let me . also why is it important to have both the fw at the same update?
because of the fuse mismatched issue on mariko. use daybreak to update both worlds
@@sthetixofficial thanks for the answer!!!

I love the switch content, I would love to see some xbox 360 rgh content like modified .xex 60fps unlocked framerate or changing notif.xex colors in the future sinse the store is closing 😢
hi, Will my game data be transferred too?
it does
@@sthetixofficial I'm in the last step when I select emu RAW GPP I receive " error mounting sd card" however I followed the whole steps
Your emummc is damaged. You dont need to follow the guide. Just recreate the emummc from scratch.
@@sthetixofficial how to resetkeyset got an error
Please show how to download Nintendo switch games jailbreak
He can't show you that but google it
This much but we still cant jailbreak our switch lite without modchip
A modchip is only 15$
@@jotik123 not everywhere, also not everyone can install it as it requires expertise.
what's the benefit of this
You will get more space to contain larger save data.
More storage more games more fun
@@sthetixofficial how many save data you need to fill up 12gb???
i dont know BUT, as far as I know, there is a specific game that has a very big save data, like about 3.2GB and i forgot the title.
@@sthetixofficial I have 64GB SD Card. Is it okay to make the partition 20Gb and use rest of the space for games? Also one question, all the downloaded xci games in sd card wont show up when I boot OFW for something online? Is it safe to do it or should I install it in my emuMMC.
Pretty new to it so lot of question Thanks a lot.
