“And by the fact that your character runs like he has to take a shit right now, it’s an emergency, get outta the way!” This is the funniest thing i’ve ever heard
This beginning (of the gameplay) is almost exactly how I started EVERYTIME. I now have a strong nostalgia rush from the 8th grade. I played on the OG Xbox and I was usually a Nord instead of redguard. Thanks for the memories Strat.
As someone who stared with skyrim and then went to morrowind and oblivion Yeah At the start they feel unplayable especially morrowind. Great games just really hard to get into
This is really entertaining way to make "how to" videos. Rather than boring "assign X, do Y" through entire vid, it has more character and therefore more interesting. I'd watch more vids like that.
This is actually a really interesting and funny format, as someone who already enjoys your content but thought this was an improvement I look forward to your future content 🔥
The Morag Tong is so good I had to write fanfiction about it. Somehow I'm one of very few fic authors who used the Eno Hlaalu tag on AO3, which is a shame because it's such a fascinating faction.
Of all the creators I’ve discovered in quarantine you are by far my favorite Strat. Morrowind was the first game I ever played and it got me into gaming as a whole. Of course as a little poopie pants 5 year old I was awful at it but it was so exciting being in an open world that I could do anything in, It was a foreign concept to me at the time. The long and short of this is just me trying to say thank you for being entertaining enough to watch on repeat and giving me that much needed dopamine/nostalgia rush. Much love
Man I would love to see you make more build videos like this. Your format makes step by step build concepts a lot more fun and interesting to learn about. Definitely a lot more fun than reading through a wiki with missing/incorrect information. Edit: not only that you explain the concept of properly roleplaying so well. People often forget that in rpgs, youre nor supposed to choose for yourself. Youre supposed to choose for the character you created. The whole idea is to make your character feel somewhat like a real person in the sense that their own morals and ideas dictate their behaviors, not some omniscient god who just wants to get paid and move on.
What I used to do was cheese the ever living - we're in hell - out of Corpus Disease. Once you get it; and I had to restart like 3 times on the original Xbox before I knew this, you can rest for like EVER amount of days (patience is a virtue for a reason but it does pay off) all your physical stats (not Personality or I believe Intelligence) will raise by 1 for each day you rest with Corpus active. When you get the disease cured as part of the main storyline - which was one of my big restarts as I didn't like that you couldn't avoid catching it, and didn't at that point realize you were supposed to go cure it, or where to do so lol) you'll keep all the physical stats that you had for as long as you contracted Corpus. From that point, it's literally an exploitable easy combat mode. Only thing you have to worry about is the attribute drain but really almost no one will dent them if you go crazy enough with it. (It does take a LONG ASSED time though) I think the longest I ever bothered doing it for was either 500 to 1 k days. Could've called myself Clark Kent crossed with Barry Allen. It was beautiful. Ooo, and the speed also applied incrementally to levitation, which is a SLOOOOOW speed spell. (Really wish that they'd kept it in "Let's have every major quest and half the small ones end up on a mountain." ) I remember the first time I mucked around with Enchanting mastered. When I saw what I could create with powerful spells and soul gems I was like "Wait a minute... this game will actually let me do that?" o. O (at the time it blew my mind because Morrowind was the first game I'd gotten that invested in that really didn't seem to care; and actively helped you, to break it)

Love that you take the perspective of the character instead of the player. I think most people forget to do that in open world RPGs. Also Pussy Slayer is one of the best character names. I remember creating an Argonian nightblade named Biggest Cock.
Years ago, a friend passed along three or four disks to me as if they were the Holy Grail. He told me to try this game. I had no knowledge of the game's mechanics or lore, but I liked D&D style RPGs & thought, "What the hell?". My first playthrough was a Nord archer who went on to lead the Morag Tong, Thieves' Guild, & House Redoran (because I had no idea what a screwed up combination that was). I was pretty certain I wasn't the Nerevarine, but I went along with the charade just to screw with the dark elves. It was impossible not to pick up on their distaste for Nords, which led me to feel a bit of resentment toward them. That's when I realized the insidious nature of this game. I was investing so much time in it that it was tickling me in the feels without me realizing it. As I read more of the books in-game as the story progressed, I was delighted to be able to stick it to the treacherous Tribunal gods. Although I love Oblivion, I never felt a strong reaction to the people I met in Cyrodil. I wanted to love Skyrim, since I began a tradition of choosing Nords for my first playthrough in each Elder Scrolls title. The problem was I had become too much of a lore nerd by that point, & the Skyrim presented in the game bore very little resemblance to what was presented in previous entries. That being said, it is only a matter of time before I install one of the Elder Scrolls games on my PC & get lost again. These damned games are digital crack, & I keep coming back.

When i was new to morrowind- all the guides, all the people i knew were telling me to play as redguard warrior as my first character. I played as altmer mage instead because magic is cool. Magic system is amazing- i can create my own awesome spells. Like adding levitation 1 to an offensive spells thus forcing the enemy to akwardly glide through the air at a very slow speed. Or adding couple of a seconds of invisibility (on self) to an offensive spell- which prevents enemies from retaliating. Later when i have discovered daedring assholes with reflect magic- i started casting elemental spells with 100% resisted added on self, to avoid being oneshotted in case of reflect. But my triumph was discovering "damage attribue" spell. Instead of stupid paralyse that get resisted half of the time you can reduce enemy strength to 0, thus they have maximum equipment load of 0 and cannot move. Ever. Also in morrowind you can have infinite number of summoned creatures, even of the same type. You just need to create new custom spells like summon skeleton1, summon skeleton2, summon skeleton3 and so on.
Fun story strat, it doesn't seem anyone else (or very few people) knows this, but if you collect the gold from the taxmans body in seyda neen, immediately go and kill Foryn Gilnith, then turn in the quest - you get to keep the gold on his body AND the gold from the quest. Little tip for ya :) try it out next time you play!
I haven't played morrowind for many years, but if chameleon works like it did back in the old days, it's far superior to invisibility. If you can max it to 100% with enchanting, it's just invisibility without dispelling on an action. There's also a guy with a ring that has 80% chameleon. Needless to say, he's hard to spot.
I have been a fan of yours for a very long time, Strat. Thank you so, so, so much for making videos like these. You are probably my favorite youtuber. - a long time fan who knows why this video was made.
I swear I've consumed like 1000 hours of Morrowind content on youtube, and it's always been something completely fucking different, this game has so many dimensions.
Amazing video as always! Not only is the build great but the video is even better! The story and structure is better than the writing in most bethesda games. Keep it up!
@@StratEdgyProductions I know this is late but what's your opinion on Marksman? More specifically bows and arrows. Im currently running a thief build and a great strategy I found is to just run backwards and shoot at my enemies. With high enough speed they literally cannot catch me, and I can just pepper them with arrows for as long as I want. I use OpenMW with patch for purists and official bethesda plugins patched. Yeah, back in the day bethesda made their own free mods. Also, Im suprised you didnt mention the great house vaults. They literally give end game gear and tons of gold with minimal effort if you know what youre doing. Also, if youre looking for video suggestions for Morrowind I suggest doing a "how to thieves guild".
I kept the bracers from the slaves I freed on display in "my home" (upstairs of a shop in Balmora), I'd like to imagine people knew about them, but who is going to complain at the Nerevarine.

This is the best video I've seen in my life. You the man -Edgy
Thank you for your support! Please share and spread the word as we are working hard on creating outstanding content for 2021 (Strat wifey)
This format was wild.
I dig it.
This is a sign here strat, I feel in love with your content after I saw ur how to Morrowind video after I started the game, and obviously other people love it when you post Morrowind related shit you gotta do more man, for the fans ya know?
More factions will follow on 2021. Spread the word as the fans make a difference in the kind of material content. Thank you for your support and looking forward to a great 2021 (Strat wifey here)
Yeah, like the wifey said, more soon. Brotherhood, expansions, more build guides. There's a lot too look forward to.
This please, but more. Cheers ole chap, loving your work.
Dammit Strat, who told you about my Morrowind playthrough?
I haven't played morrowind for many years, but if chameleon works like it did back in the old days, it's far superior to invisibility. If you can max it to 100% with enchanting, it's just invisibility without dispelling on an action. There's also a guy with a ring that has 80% chameleon. Needless to say, he's hard to spot.
I have been a fan of yours for a very long time, Strat. Thank you so, so, so much for making videos like these. You are probably my favorite youtuber. - a long time fan who knows why this video was made.
Awesome vid man. Enjoyed the twitch playthrough I accidently found you playing too.
southern nick now have to be a recurrent character.
It will be, and Pussy Slayer is making a comeback soon. Look forward to 2021 vids and share.
I swear I've consumed like 1000 hours of Morrowind content on youtube, and it's always been something completely fucking different, this game has so many dimensions.
This man knows how to write/narrate a guide
“Pick a redguard who specializes in weapons ... as he should!”
As a irl redguard who loves weapons I loved this
usually skits make a video worse
but you fucking nailed it, that was great
Damn, real dark joke in the opening there.
Amazing video as always! Not only is the build great but the video is even better! The story and structure is better than the writing in most bethesda games. Keep it up!
Glad you liked it. It was tempting to make Nick an idiot, but the script read so much better when nick was given a pointy stick to poke at strat.
The Morag Tong is the best hidden faction evvvvvvveeeeer
i love the therapist angle in these videos. its really enjoyable
Damn you you always listen my favorit and put in in gameplays too Kangtao down rules but i still wait some lorn percs in that track and noting.
More people need to see your channel dude. Im in love with your work.
I kept the bracers from the slaves I freed on display in "my home" (upstairs of a shop in Balmora), I'd like to imagine people knew about them, but who is going to complain at the Nerevarine.
What in the flaming fuck knuckles happened here? I've been away from access to UA-cam for 6 months and I see this intro to your latest video? All I have to say is well done, fuck yes, I'm all for more of this shit
I'm a simple man; I see Morrowind, I give thumbs up.
GREAT SCOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MORAG TONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going through daggerfall currently but when I get to morrowind I’ll rewatch this
The intro is stupid and I absolutely love it! ❤️
Something up my alley- Finally
I love your content.. just found you on youtube last week
Thanks and welcome. What would you like to see a review or how to on?
@@StratEdgyProductions 😁 oh youre amazing!! What brought me here was a fav childhood game.. I love the elder scrolls but your KOTOR1 retrospective was absolutely the bomb😆
I would love to witness all the jokes you could make about Kreia in kotor2
I second KOTOR II, it doesn’t get enough love but it’s better than the first imo
Banger intro. Every How To you make, always gives me the urge to play whatever game you're covering. Were you ever a salesman?
Thank you for your support with the channel. He is working on great 2021 content including more unique characters and the glorious return of Pussy Slayer. Please spread the word and we appreciate you being here (Strat wifey)
Yeah, I was the top computer salesman when I was 17 years old working at Sears, if you can believe that. Also, nice pic of Aldous Huxley.
The fist that ups strength is a vindictive piece of armor, it'll make you depend on it to your detriment
The people talking thing really kept me watching, good work.
Vids back to back man I love it!
I loved the emphasis on roleplay- that's the best way to play Morrowind imo
This absolutely had me cracking up. Loving your work!
2077 is mid bro, but still love the channel. Also, "I'm not Morag Tong but don't look at me funny. I already did my time if you cross me it'll be bloody"
🎶 chase the bag kid, never chase a dame, I was grinding, you was dreaming, I don’t care to know your name, you think you’re a player, I already own the game, we are not the same, check your blood pressure

Can’t watch the premiere unfortunately but I love that you made this Strat-Edgy
Your vids are the only way I can enjoy an Elder Scroll game ^^'...
Beautiful, I can't watch this yet though. I have yet to play through their campaign and I was going to with my brother on the multiplayer mod this upcoming holiday.
That's crazy! Have a good one!
I still want to try that. Have fun my guy! Try not to kill each other with AoE spells :D
Or do nothing but kill eachother with AOE's. Morrowind PvP. Never thought I'd see the day.
AoEing him is letting the guy off too easily. I made a high value burden spell that lasts for a solid period of time.
Honestly, I would recommend giving the multiplayer mod a try to anybody thinking about it. It's pretty well done in all honesty. Hosting a server with a few people you know is a blast.
I came for your content. I stayed for.. your content
Love it! Keep up the good work my man.
This is wonderful. More of these please!
