Would love to see you do a video of it on a 10.5 and 11.5 AR's and get your thoughts.
I don’t consider k cans SBR material. I know that on a full rifle it’s safe.
I run this on a 11.5 mid length machine gun. It’s sweet
@@VSO_Gun_Channel I ran a YHM K can on my class3 11.5 Colt converted M16 with great success. The can is a friend of mine that runs it on his 10.5 full time.
I actually thought that K cans were originally designed for SBR's for eg..SWAT/HRT and the like to limit the blast for team mates and cut down the risk of fire from flammable material.
Send the can to me and I'll run it and send in the video to you. 😉
@@MuzzleFrontLLC I've been trying to figure out if this one is the one I want.
I've got 2 of their SME's that I have one on a 8.5" 556 upper and one on the 11.5" 556.
I currently have an American Mfg XXX Warrior that is a tank and is beltfed rated. I bought it years ago when the Shrike (now Flightligh) beltfed was vaporware. I will get a beltfed upper one day but no time soon.
The XXX feels like it weighs 15 pounds when shooting it for extended periods of time.
@@gregpena9874 duh, what does the k stand for?
i have a YHM phantom 30 cal and a select fire Colt. i shoot 556,300,
762x39 full auto and 308, fas as i can!!!
You can also use an Airgun pellet rifle 22cal for the ground hugs and it would be a lot cheaper.
A comment for the YT Gods to be angry at content people want to see.
Nice review. Was unfamiliar wit Witt Machine. I’m going shopping.
For you neophytes please don't use your kitchen sink or any food preparation surface for anything to do with your guns. You might cause your kids to get lead poisoning. This is a brand new suppressor and he's already a bit special.
You can, you just need to properly clean it out. Most people can’t do that properly so probably not a good idea
Great video Kurt. I'd LOVE to see some Form 1 suppressor content. #LetsGoBrandon
🤔
So, question. Do the standard can “I.e. dirty 30” have the same thread pattern then the Mod 1? I have a few of their cans and want to put QD on them suckers.
Great video thanks!
how did you get the dead air qd on the wittman can? i kinda want that combo
:))
Still early on on the video, did you use subsonic ammo at all?
Only on the 22
@@VSO_Gun_Channel did you hear a significant difference when using subsonic in the .22?
@@Justforfun-ek7et no super sonic crack. Much quieter. He said the gun went click on empty about as loud as the report of firing a sub.
Let's go Brandon!
My 6.5 stayed at 1/4" MOA and the POI did not change went I added a suppressor.
Just found your content. Solid presentation! What's the weight? Do you have any experience with the YHM Turbo K? If so, how do they compare?
I approached YHM some years ago to do some testing, they wouldn’t agree to the terms of service, no big deal, but that means I can have no opinion about their product because I have not tested it myself.
What is the biggest thing that helps sound surpression? Volume of number of ballfes?
What’s the single ingredient that makes a cake a good cake?
Volume
@@Nylonscheme i mean, as a fat kid I walked right into that.
While volume is important, once you have sufficient volume, adding more is a diminishing return situation
As a fellow fat kid I walk right into everything
neither
I loved the video and great info about a local manufacturer. One quibble.
Why in God's name did you use AvE's Swedish NutF**ker Wrench to remove the mounting device from the end of the barrel?
Did you get any video of testing at night using a flash hider mount vs. the Rearden break and Atlas?
Do they make one for 12g? They tend to bring the noise and I'd like to be able to use it and not have tinnitis afterwards
Wow 32 year old James Reeves, I’m 3 years away from that 😭
Definitely considering a can like this once I get my 16” Ruger AR 556 MPR. Always enjoy your detailed content, much love from Texas!
I’d start the paperwork before the gun if I were you
I'm less concerned with length, than I am weight.
