My Christmas is incomplete without this song. One more sleep is a classic

It’s the wrong song choice, it’s supposed to be Leona’s new Christmas song “Kiss Me It’s Christmas” featuring Ne-Yo, which was uploaded on UA-cam on 12th Dec 2021.
Sublime and she looks so amazing, I love how her style has evolved, loving all her looks. She sang it live, on the back of a UK arena tour, guys give her a break. National Treasure.

She certainly is back to her X factor days. Singing off key. She got better for a few years though. Perhaps she had a cold or something because I heard her sing last year in her house and she sounded fine. So I think she just had a cold or something her.
She can't belt anymore, though.

Are you talking about a medical condition she has? I’ve been trying to find out what happened to leona’s voice for a while.
@@willsilverside9369 Yep, she's been living with Hashimoto's for a few years now. She's said in a few interviews when she gets tired it really flares up, affects her thyroid and blocks the vocal cords. This would be the main reason why you see some amazing performances, followed by a few shaky ones.

One of her best performances of the last few years. For the last few years her voice has a slight nasal quality and is a little shaky that she doesn't seem to be able to get rid of, but her tone is still gorgeous, and her vocals are stronger/more stable than they were. I'm glad she's been able to regain some of that magic.
If I were a lucky enough man to have Leona as my own I would nag her to sing I See You to me as often as possible. That was one of those moments hearing that that gave me that WOW realisation of what I was hearing. Chills.

It's sad that a lot of people aren't aware of Leona's Hashimoto's disease which affected her thyroids. It's the reason why she can't control her voice.
Plus the nose job as well. That effects air flow and sound

She starts a little bit off...She still has problem with her lows and her chest voice. But not bad. She needs to be confident again. She moves the microphone away when she hits high notes because she is not sure what´s is going to happen...but her head voice stills very good. Come on Leona! We believe in you. You can recover your voice. Btw I really enjoy this performance!!
she needs a vocal coach to find new techniques to build that prime sound. It seems she still has it but she's either nervous or she've forgotten how to use her vocal muscles the way she used to.
this is what happens when a voice is over worked for years, this is not her fault. they management she was under worked her to the bone and didn't give her any vocal rest. i hope she can train her voice again or at least bring the key down in her songs so she doesn't have to work so hard to reach those notes.
It's not through over use. Its hashimoto's disease
@@ryanallen8455 It's also due to her bring overworked. Kelly Clarkson and Linda Ronstadt also have the same condition yet their voices haven't taken such a hit.
@@GarageStudio7 not everyone is the same. Yes shes had a very small vocal prime but its clearly down to her hashimoto's
@@ryanallen8455 I never stated that everyone is the same however considering that she has actively been treating her hashimoto's disease (her own words) it's obvious that it is not the only thing that is affecting her voice.
Overworking one's voice for an extended period of time affects them in the long run, even moreso if the person has a light Lyric Soprano voice like Leona.
Pretty sure she has hashimotos disease, think it’s affected her voice, though she still sounds pretty good to me.

i’m really curious to know what’s happened. this performance wasn’t bad tbf. but it just seems her vocals are so unstable. like her voice is constantly so shaky when the vibrato come into it

why is she having too much vibrato like she sounded like she's having chills. I am so sad on what hapenned to her voice. Last night I was listening to "broken" from echo and it reminded how great a vocalist she was.

Not only the belting is weak, but also the falsetto. You can hear her lose the voice suddenly at 2:50.

Not her best a bit guess and go with her voice and singing like she’s making the decision what note to sing there and then which is a recipe for disaster. She’s always had a lovely tone to her voice. Her voice is pretty but it needs help to get her better like she was before. Her technique has gone down hill sadly

She can't, she's got an auto immune disease, it's not really curable, she has good and bad days, but it'll never be 100% healthy.
I feel bad I would love to know what happened to her voice. This is very unfortunate but she’s human it happens. I just can’t believe she use to sing “Bleeding Love”. And this song didn’t help her truthfully. It’s an ok song. Prayers for because sadly this is giving karaoke singer vibe and not in a good way.
