Thanks Marty. I'm only going to upload a new remix every 3 days from now on. I just don't have enough spare time any more to create a new remix every 2 days.
Thanks Paul. What nobody seems to have noticed is the upload date - March 15th - also known as The Ides of March. I had to study a Shakespeare play for O Level English literature and Julius Caesar was the play that was chosen. The line I remember most was "Beware the Ides of March"
Ultimate quality remix Pat - superb. I was going to comment on the date specific upload, then I read your reply to Paul. I had Julius Caesar as my set Shakespeare for O-level as well - however boring it was at the time these things stick with you !
🎧👍👍 How can one improve upon that? What a great remix, Pat and thank you for sharing. From around 120 miles north of Toronto, my brother and I used to tune in to 770, WABC New York every night but when it was a bad night, we would turn to 1000, WCFL Chicago. Shortly after this song, they had another hit with L.A. Goodbye. ua-cam.com/video/hYw1hAn8iq8/v-deo.html When nobody around me was ever able to say that they remembered it, I investigated and found that it was somewhat of a local hit around the Chicago area and in some parts of California. That is the explanation as to why I knew it. I still wonder if that is the full explanation and whether other people remember it climbing the charts.
It must have been wonderful being able to tune into all those great radio stations back then. Here in the UK, the government closed the offshore pirate stations in 1967. That left us with the BBC having a virtual monopoly of radio broadcasting. And it was terrible. Just a few hours a day of the kind of music I wanted to listen to. The only alternative was Radio Luxembourg on 208 metres medium wave. And that would only come through during the hours of darkness. Here in Nottingham we didn't get a commercial radio station until 1975. I was so envious of North American radio !
@radiowollaton8521 I guess we don't appreciate the 'little' things like that because we have no idea as to how things are in other countries. When I lived in North Bay, we had a local AM station, 600 CFCH that played the top 20/40? every night as well as music throughout the day. I remember laying in bed and donning my headphones and listening with my crystal radio to Winchester Cathedral, Penny Lane, I'm A Believer, Georgy Girl, A Place In The Sun, Colour My World, Happy Together, 98.6, Kind Of A Drag, Music To Watch Girls By, There's A Kind Of Hush/No Milk Today...etc.
Awesome job more please 👍🏻
From the jazz-rock era--excellent! Along with Blood, Sweat, and Tears and Chicago it was a great time (and sound) and wish it'd return.

Pat, I'm a little confused. Did you just change the cover or is this a completely new upload of the same song as this morning?
Hi Gerhard. I got the artwork wrong, so I quickly replaced the upload. The audio is still the same.
✌️👍😊💃🐭

Such a great song, but can imagine a Gen Z'er listening to the lyrics? LOL
